We've been here twice now and have ordered to go a few times. They have consistently good smoked meats and other options. Highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere, the wings were good. I wish they had more flavors though. Be sure to check the action figure collection they have.

Very laid back, good seating and parking if you have a family. Got the green mesquite potato smothered in BBQ, wife got the two meats BBQ, both stuffed and it was plenty. If your from Louisiana they’ve got Jambalaya also which is hard to find around here.

The Green Mesquite has a diverse menu for a BBQ Restaurant.
For example, I got the Frito Pie It's well made, with a good balance of chips to chilli to cheese ratio.
The ribs here are also some of the most tender, fall off the bone ribs in the area.
Beers on tap. Not a large selection, but there's some variety.

Pretty good grub! No complaints. The sweet cornbread brought back memories of my grandmothers. The bbq sauce was pretty good, not too sweet. Next time will try the spicy. And that chocolate fudge pie is awesome! Nice, friendly folks, got my order to go but was pretty nice atmosphere.

Fabulous meals here. The brisket is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. All the sides are super good. The creamed corn is sweet and good. You can ask for the wings to have no sauce or on the side. The sauce is relatively spicy. You'd never believe it but the catfish is wonderful!

Bbq dinner with family. All the food was good. Brisket, sausage, pork ribs. Two types of sauce. Mild and hot. All tasty. Definitely recommend this location

Update: This time the food was ok, chicken a little dry but thats chicken for you. The rest was good. They only thing that bothered us this time was the gnats, i mean not just one but a few. We sat in the booth around the bar corner. I caught one and thought ok thats fine places have flys and what not but nope a few more buzzing around so we ate quick cause it was annoying.
OLD Review:This was delicious!!! Waitress was nice and helpful since it was our first time there. The ribs were moist and not burnt, coleslaw was average, and the green beans were okay seemed a little under cooked but still good. The cornbread was spot on and peach cobbler was soft but no crunchy crust, fried pickles seemed fresh with a thin crisp batter, not that frozen ready kind. The chicken fried steak was good and crisp but the mac an' cheese is good, not too cheesy. Few good choices of tap beer. Went at 630-7 pm on a Friday and not busy at all. Would go back!
