The food was decent but the portion sizes were small for the price. The sandwich came with half a handful of chips and the soup was TINY. The restaurant blaring music so loud it was hard to have a conversation. They should definitely turn it down to improve the vibes. They didn’t have an abundance of vegan options for a healthy lifestyle restaurant.

From the moment you walk into Modern Market, you can tell this is a restaurant that deeply cares about serving high-quality, wholesome ingredients. The food philosophy here is refreshing - real, recognizable ingredients made from scratch to create delicious dishes. Everything I tried at Modern Market totally hit the mark when it comes to flavor and freshness. The salads showcase crunchy, in-season produce tossed in balanced dressings. Sandwiches and melts are piled high with humanely-raised meats or savory vegetables on bread baked daily. Even the desserts like the fruit crisps burst with ripe, natural sweetness. And you can taste the care that goes into preparing each dish with restraint to let the excellent ingredients shine. For healthy, satisfying fare made with an admirable commitment to real food, Modern Market is a trustworthy choice. The cheerful ambiance makes it a great spot for grabbing a nourishing quick bite or lingering over a farm-to-table feast with friends.

The music was a little too loud for the industrial type of space it is, and the table we sat at was sticky. But both bowls we ordered (seared runa, and chicken) were absolutely delicious: very fresh, with interesting flavor combinations that worked well. And the prices are very affordable. So all in all it was a positive experience

Decided to eat here before going to the venue. I had the Blackened Chicken Mango bowl which came with rice and quinoa, mango, kale, black beans and chicken ofc. That was one of the best bowls I've eaten. The ingredients were fresh and this bowl was definitely filling. They also have cane sodas, tea and lemonade. I had a Berry Hibiscus tea that I mixed with lemonade. It was the perfect blend of sour with a bit of sweetness. While we were there, a homeless man came in to get something to drink. However, they yelled at him to get out. I don't know what history they have with him but the interaction was loud and upsetting.
