Bright and spacious accommodations. Slept so well in the ultra comfortable king sized bed. Plenty of food options right outside the front door. Enjoyed Lick ice cream, Medici Coffee. Walking distance to many other places. We went to Tiny Pies and Austin Beer Garden Brewing Company. Looking forward to checking out properties in other cities.

Had a great visit at The Guild. First off, the customer service was beyond amazing! Our room was really comfortable and had an amazing view of the city. My only reason for rating my experience with 4 stars and not 5 is because our room was not the cleanest. Being that I have several years of hospitality experience, things stood out to me very quickly, for starters when we walked in I noticed several areas on the counter that had food stuck to it, there was hand prints on the fridge, hair stuck to the sitting chairs, etc. Through the night I noticed things like the soap dispenser in the shower was leaking soap pretty badly, the hand soap dispenser was broken, the sheets were super wrinkled and the floors hadn't been cleaned for a bit of time. I am not a picky person so these things certainly did not ruin my experience, I still had a great time. I would love to stay with The Guild again.

It's nice. We stayed with family as a week long rental. I think the rooms were fairly clean and we weren't too bothered by outside noise but some better instructions in the garage would be helpful. The use of space is strange.. big bathroom with no counter space. The living room was tiny with only one couch to sit in. The bar chairs were regular height so not comfortable to sit there either. Electrical outlets were mostly all blocked by furniture. Dumb things really. A little better planning would have been nice.

Had a wonderful stay over here for my birthday! They will literally provide you with step by step details on how to check in, find your room, etc. I really was impressed by how organized it was, especially with people actually living there and people just renting out rooms. The room was really cool, I loved the plaque it had on the wall with popular places in Austin. I would definitely stay here again, it's in a wonderful location!

The Guild location are a great value, clean, good amenities, and spacious. At this location they have a pool but it looks frequently packed. The check in can be a chore if you do not get your text message or do not follow the instructions. There are multiple buildings so plan on taking some time to get parked and in your room. But i do recommend this hotel for the value, cleanliness, and location.

My husband and I stayed at The Guild Lamar Union in Austin for his birthday weekend. It’s was so good! Check in was a breeze and we LOVED the location! The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and clean. My only issues, if you’d even call them that, are that because it’s an apartment complex, the actual residents may have dogs and the hall carpets weren’t exactly squeaky clean. I have allergies so I noticed but most wouldn’t. Also, our “neighbors” were up late Saturday night into the mid morning with music and obnoxiously loud political conversations lol. This isn’t something that would stop us from staying here again though, we’ll be back! Thanks to Andrew for helping us!

Had the absolute best stay here, I was super nervous about it being an apartment complex when my husband booked it! It’s probably the cleanest hotel we have stayed in in a while. Also the amenities that they provide are awesome, ladies I’m talking about make up remover wipes already provided in the bathroom. This Hotel made it so easy for us to travel with our daughter, we were able to hang out in the other room and not have to go to sleep at 8 PM just because she did since usually we are all in the same hotel room. We will definitely be staying here again.

Long review.... Where do I begin, how do I begin... This place is beautiful, located in the south of Austin near ziker Park which is another review on its own. You will be surrounded by everything you might be looking for and a few surprises to go along with. There is an abundance of food trucks all within walking distance. In the same square "block" they have a few shops a bar and lounge and movie theater, all within eye sight. On to the building 4 levels high but the 1st one are shops the other 3 are apartments. Most residents are permanent, but some rent out the apt. But Don't let this discourage you everyone was super friendly. Outdoor areas and hang outs are aplenty. Pool looked delicious but I didn't take a dip but I did have a great workout at their gym facility, the wife and I enjoyed it to ourselves. I only stayed one night and didn't have time to do it all. Onto the rooms. Very modern, very clean, very useful. The apt. Is small but no space is wasted, the living room has a queen sized sofa bed just in case. The kitchen and living room are together but well defined. The bedroom has a king size bed where the Mrs. our kiddo and I slept through the night. Restroom has a laundry room hidden in plain sight. It was an amazing stay.
