Oakwood Bbq & Beer Garden

Some of the best bbq I have EVER put in my face hole. And their Mac and cheese is by far some of the best I have ever seen come from any restaurant. You can tell by the taste that it is scratch made and has been seasoned. Most places won't even add flavor to their Mac and cheese. I'll definitely be an on repeat customer.

This is my new favorite BBQ spot. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. My wife got the Oakwood, loved it. I got the two meat plate with brisket and sausage and burnt end beans and cream corn. The brisket was fall apart and melt in your mouth good. Seasoning was great too. The sausage was delicious. The cream corn was a bit thicker than I'm used to, but it was so good. The beans were also really good. We also got a banana pudding for dessert, and it was, just, delicious. It was a bit thinner than a normal pudding, but we actually really liked that. The service was also really great. Friendly gentleman at the register, very patient with us even though it was our first time there. The outdoor seating area was lovely. Very nice atmosphere. Nice and shady. We came for a late lunch, so there really wasn't anyone else out there with us. It was very relaxing.

Awesome place to meet up with friends, Really enjoyed listening to The Larry Harris band they provided great music and delivered the perfect vibe, enjoy the afternoon sitting under beautiful Oak trees , enjoying an iced cold beverage. Eat some BBQ with unique and delicious flavor combinations, we had Brisket, sausage, TexMex tacos and Honey Bbq chicken, Kid friendly and dog friendly too. This is the kind of place that makes Austin a great place to live!

We were going to Austin to visit family. My husband called this place to see if they could accommodate 20-25 people on a Sunday at 1pm. The guy, Linoy, said it was no problem. When we arrived he greeted us, remembered my husband's name, and showed us 3 different areas we could sit, inside or outside. We picked the front room and they moved 2 more tables with chairs into the room. There's a window unit in there that we could adjust if needed. There's also black curtains we could pull to if we wanted more privacy since the front door and counter are both right out of the front room. It was really nice outside but the band was playing and we didn't think people would be able to visit with each other. It is walk up counter service to order and then pick up your food when the buzzer thing they hand you goes off. The non-alcoholic drinks are self serve. They have some beer and wine. The backyard is set up nice with a privacy fence and lots of shade trees. They have picnic tables, a stage, and some games. We couldn't have picked a better place. The service was impeccable and the food was great! Linoy and his crew did an awesome job! Thank you again, Linoy! Maybe we'll come there again for this in January 🙂

The food hit the spot. BBQ was delicious! The meat fell right of the bone with ribs. The brisket and sausage were tasty also. Drink were bomb dot com. The live music was super chill. Customer service was 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯. I'm definitely going back soon for brunch again. Oh, and dog friendly means everything! 💯💯
