I come here weekly. The food is always great, and the customer service is top-notch. We brought a group of 15 for bosses' day. The boss couldn't be happier.

This restaurant is in a super cute building and the service was really great. They sat our huge group quickly, our food came out fast, and all of our orders were right. The food was fine, the street tacos were a little dry and could have used a crema or something. The salsa had a great kick and the chips were fresh. Overall good food, but nothing to write home about.

Always love the food and drinks here. Staff is pretty distracted but you sometimes get a great server. If they have karaoke nights, go! Great vibes on those nights.

Been a couple of times, solid Tex-Mex and Mexican food. They make their own tortillas, which goes a long way with me. I feel like some of the wait staff is new, so the first time we ended up waiting a bit, but the second time they were a lot more attentive. Had green enchiladas and fajita street tacos, both good for quantity and quality.

We booked the party room which is in the back of the restaurant. The waitresses were kept very busy as we had over 30 people. They bought out the chips and salsa right away and got our drink orders and pretty much stayed on top of everything. They did an amazing job! Food was good..I got the carne guisada plate and my daughter got the street tacos. Worth trying them again!

This is a popular place for the investigators that I work with. They love the large number of choices on the menu, the quality of food and the excellent service.
A friend of mine said it's a really fun place at night. She's done karaoke there.
I had the fajita nachos, chicken and beef. They were great.

We found this place by accident but I am so glad we did. This is DEFINITELY my go to Mexican restaurant in Austin now!!! EVERYTHING was perfect- the staff was attentive and sweet, the margaritas well delicious, and the food is the BEST I've had in Austin.

We’ve eaten at La Palapa a number of times (both dine-in and delivery). The food is always surprising good! One of our favorites is the mixed fajita trays - a family size order is a quarter sheet pan size. The decor is up there with a true Austin restaurant - it looks like the main dining area had a fountain at one point that’s become a converted planter of sorts!
Fair warning, when dining in, the service can be a bit slow sometimes, but is always friendly!

Went for an early dinner and happy hour. Good value for drinks during happy hour! The special on Thursday is worth going back for.
