Unit-d Pizzeria

Great happy hour specials to include $2 pints in Mondays and $5 glasses of wine from 5-7 pm on M,W-F. 1/2 off bottles of wine during happy hour and .50 to 1.5 off of most of the appetizers. We had the fried green tomato app which I wasn't the biggest fan of. They have $5 D squared Sicilian type slices and we got two cheese that were our absolute favorite. These end at 7 o.m. or when they run out. We ordered the spinach artichoke pizza and when it was absolutely delicious with a heavy veggie presence and delicate chewy dough in my opinion it didn't beat the D-square! Our waitress, Rianna was on top of everything, super polite and definitely drove the experience into the 5 star category. We'll be back.

Nice spot. Great, fresh ingredients, very good flavors and an enthusiastic staff who knows their food and drinks, answers all questions. Wood fired pizzas either simple or with very creative combinations. All the appetizers are very good. We have had nothing but great experiences here. The space is very cool, comfortable, modern and relaxing. Good place to take a date. It's a nice quality step up for a pizza restaurant and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food.

Delicious pizza with fresh ingredients. We had the greens pizza and the original cheese pizza. Greens pizza was our favorite. The original cheese pizza was a bit salty due to the mimolette cheese. It comes with a white sauce and a red sauce but we asked for the red sauce only. The white sauce might've helped offset some of the saltiness of the cheese. Overall great experience and would go back again!

Parking and seating were tight at dinnertime on a Friday evening, but we still got in quickly at the bar. The interior is interesting and inviting. The pizza kitchen is fun to watch, with flourishes that convinced us they were having a good time. Waitstaff was solid and helpful. We tried the broccolini, the kale salad, and the mushroom pizza. All three were terrific. A new favorite!

Unit-D is a cozy spot. The dining room is tiny, but doesn't feel that way with large windows and light wood paneling. We celebrated a birthday with about 10 people and it took 2.5 hours. The staff was great to work with, but service was a little slow. This would be a great date night spot, or with a smaller crew. The charcuterie was amazing along with all the pizzas I tried.
