Just went here after living in the neighborhood for years and am kicking myself I didn't know about it sooner. The owner is so kind and gave my whining three year old a stuffed animal. Amazing music playing, good vibes, and reeeeeaallly good sandwiches that feel homemade in the best way. These places are so rare.

Aug 2023 Update: Always a great experience! The customer service is top tier and the sandwiches just HIT THE SPOT! This time was Turkey, pepper Jack & veggies on grain. SOOO GOOD! Still highly recommend!
A perfect hidden-in-plain-sight gem! It’ll feel like you stepped back in time. This is definitely a must visit if you’re in the area. Service is super friendly and helpful… and the food is awesome. I had the roast beef with Swiss on sourdough all the way add horseradish… So so good. Highly recommend!

Maybe the best sandwich I’ve ever had … good fresh ingredients and great bread! Then there are the brownies baked this morning. All this in a charming old grocery in a beautiful neighborhood.

My mom and I had such a great experience while at Avenue B. We both shared the King Ross sandwich, and it was hot and delicious. It’s a super unique and eclectic setting that sets it apart from other restaurants in the area. For sure a must try! :)
