We ordered food for my daughter’s birthday party from Biryani and Grill, South Austin. The food was fresh and very tasty and all our vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests loved the food. The food was ready for pickup on time and they offered the stands and equipment to keep the food hot. Good service, price, and service.

We love this place the food is absolutely delicious it’s authentic fresh juicy tender absolutely divine keeps you coming back for more the service was really good and the workers were very attentive front desk was very kind and patient as we didn’t know how to pronounce some of the items on the menu and that wasn’t a problem the whole entire restaurant was very clean and it smelled good it had a very pleasant aroma very comfortable and the music in the background was very appealing as well I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant we ordered two of everything to eat and two of everything to go we highly recommend taking your time and enjoying this delicious food if you’re in extreme rush you’re going to miss the great experience thank you Birjani for making tasty delicious food for us to enjoy❣️

My husband's colleague who used to live in New York City recommended this place, Stating this was the most authentic Indian food in the area. We were very impressed! Some tables have a grill at the center where they will bring and keep warm some amazing chicken and lamb kabobs which have been cooked to perfection: juicy in the center and charbroiled crisp on the outside. Their onion pakoras work mint chutney were great too! Everything alongside very friendly and knowledgeable service. Great job guys! We look forward to going back soon

The food was absolutely delicious and the quantity was really good for the price. It's so hard to find such authentic Indian food for such a reasonable price in Austin. The food is actually spicy and tastes like Indian food. The people give good service as well. Their biryani and chicken appetizers are super good. Their noodles are really good as well. This is probably my favorite place to go for authentic Indian food in Austin.

Everything we ordered from dosas to biriyani to curries were fantastic. The flavors were complex and delicious. Beware of the spice level though as they are not shy about heat. I do have to mention that online ordering is a mess and their signage is unclear about operating hours. Or rather, the signage is clear but... incorrect? They open at least an hour later on Sunday that is stated on their website and on their door. I ordered on the website and it took my order and said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I showed up and walked in and the place was NOT set up for business. They were clearly preparing some catering job in the dining area as if it was additional kitchen prep space. They told me they weren’t open for 30 more minutes (even though it was past the time the front door said they were open) and also said they didn’t have my order. I had to they repeat my order to them and they said it would be 30 min. I texted the wife to let her know of the delay and left to run some grocery shopping errands. I returned 40 min later only to stand around with a couple of ride-sharing food delivery folks for twenty minutes before I got my food. I was pretty grumpy about all of it but when I got home and tasted it... all was forgiven.
