Food was okayish. The server did hear what we wanted but didn’t get as per our request. We ordered chicken fried momos, thupka and aloo kulcha. Aloo kulcha didn’t have salt in it. We told this to server and he got us a new one but same result. For Thupka, we requested to have less noodles in the soup on 2 out of 3 orders and the server himself said that he will get that done but in the end it was full of noodles. Chicken momos were decent. Requested achaar with aloo kulcha but they didn’t have it. We ordered raita but it was sweet and we expected salted. We asked if we can get salted raita, server said they don’t have salted one.

We decided to try this restaurant and were very pleased. I had the house special lamb curry. It was cooked well. There was plenty of rice and enough food to take home and enjoy again. The meat was tender and good quality. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was excellent. I will come back again.

The balance of spices in my lamb biryani was perfect. The lamb was a high quality cut and was the perfect texture for my pallette. The only issue with my order was that whoever butchered the lamb must have been the owner of a sharp and heavy meat cleaver who was late for an appointment with their anger management support group as the dish was sprinkled with hard bits of bone throughout. In my ravenous consumption of the heavenly dish, my dental work became victim to the un chewable, rock like structural mechanisms of the young sheep. Although this dish is one of the best I've ever had, I give it 4 out of 5 stars because I am unsure, at this time, of the amount of internal bleeding my organs may suffer as the result of its ingestion.

What a great find while visiting the nearby Galaxy Theatre for Austin Film Festival 2023. This restaurant was nearly empty when we were seated at 6pm but was nearly full when we left around 7:15pm. There was steady pickup and delivery traffic. We had butter chicken, chicken coco korma, garlic Naan, and papadom with mint sauce and tamarind sauce. We had a Coke and a marsala tea which was delish! All food was exceptional and served in a timely manner. This place could use a modern makeover for ambience. Right now, it seems a little shady! If this review was helpful, please give it a 👍

Wow. Best Indian food in Austin. I can say that living in England spoiled me...all the Indian food in Austin is just average--but here we had great, full flavor in our curries (butter chicken and spinach something w cheese) with garlic naan and the atmosphere / vibe was really on point too, music and all. We tried a rice pudding for dessert which really ended things nicely. Service was stellar and so friendly. We'll be back again and again.

This was a great pick me up on a real dud of a day. Honestly, one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. The only better I can think of was a tent in the black hills, so hit this one up when you've got the chance. We were seated quickly, right next to a cool stone sculpture of an Indian temple (?). We ordered the paneer chilli as an appetizer, tandoori chicken, and the house chicken curry with some garlic naan bread. Before the food came a sort of seeded cracker with two types of chutneys. Think Indian chips and salsa, but not at all those flavors. The cracker was kind of bitter with seeds, but the chutneys were both fairly sweet. It wasn't my favorite thing, but I enjoyed being able to try something new. The paneer chilli came out hot, crispy, and coated in a super delicious chilli sauce. We ordered everything mild. The tandoori chicken was so tender, and the sauce that came with it was smooth and creamy. The house chicken curry was a new one, but we enjoyed it, and noticed it came with a lot more chicken pieces than other Indian restaurants we've visited. The naan bread here is unique. The restaurant sells curry pizza, and the naan bread seemed to be a little more like pizza dough and didn't have the traditional naan shape. We were well taken care of and always had enough water and rice, and we had plenty of food to take home with us. Addition: Came back again and ordered the veggie samosas, paneer palaak (saag), and the tandoori chicken and naan. The samosas were a thin, piping hot pastry with a comforting potato mash inside. They were filling and homey. The palaak paneer was very good and a but spicy. The tandoori chicken was good like last time, though the pieces seemed smaller. The naan was very light and delicious. Good stuff.

I used its predecessor (another Indian restaurant in the same space) for many years. The new (or maybe just rebranded) restaurant seems much the same. Though the interior feels a little drab, the food is very good. I personally favor the lamb korma. I usually get takeout and it's always packed well.

Every time I go to Bombay I order the Salmon Tikka Masala and it’s great! The Butter Chicken is another favorite, the portions are quite big, no complaints on the garlic naan, although the mango lassi was just okay for us. Can’t wait to go back!

My family told me this place was good, but it was great! We had the chicken Tikka pizza, lamb Tikka masala, butter chicken, lam buryani, goat curry, cheese and garlic Naan, dumplins in the soup and mango lassi. ALL of it was delicious!
