In its own 1984 retro throwback way, this TCBY is one of the coolest out there. This has to be the original one in Austin. The service was quick, efficient and friendly and the flavors were great as always. Lots of folks coming in on a Game Day and still fast lines and good service. Hit this one up on the way to the Bullock or Blanton Museums or for a great treat after a Longhorn win!

Saw this as we were walking downtown and thought I’d give it a try. While there is indoor seating, the sign at the door said for walk up to order at the drive through window. We waited for some time with only one person ahead of us, but once we got to the window we realized it’s just one worker. He was super friendly, an older gentleman. Not sure if this is the guy people are complaining about below but the experience was still good (:

Nice place. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Tables and floors were clean. Good view of surrounding area. I had the sugar-free Mountain Berry, and I thought it was excellent. This was the first time I took my daughter out for frozen yogurt (we shared a small cup - perfect size) and she loved this particular flavor which was great for me since I try to keep her away from higher sugar options. My wife had the fudge or brownie flavor, and she said it was awesome. I would go back here again for sure. Great spot for families. In my opinion, I think going some place like this after dinner is better than having dessert at the restaurant; less expensive and a bit more special regarding the experience.
