Garden Spot Cafe & Catering

I seem to be in the minority with my opinion but even though this place is good I'm never excited to go here. They have a large variety so I always find something to eat and it's always pretty good but never great. I've never craved anything from here and I've tried many different sandwiches. With that being said it's not at all a bad place to hit for lunch when you're tired of your usual stuff. The seating area is cramped and the wait is always longer than you'd expect but these complaints are fairly minor. Definitely check it out at least once (probably more) if you're in the mood for a sandwich.

Yes. Ive been here so many times. Yes. deserves so much recognition. The ike and tina & tuna! Their wraps. Oh my goodness. If i could i would go here everyday and get the chefs special everyday of every week. Prices are reasonable and everything is fresh. I highly recommend the red barron as well. Mouth watering frito pies (vegetarian chili available everyday) and daily fresh soups have never disappointed me. Recently began serving breakfast which i plan to try this saturday. Best part is the owner is there friendly and ready to ring you up. An austin gem please dont ever change.

My friend and I love this little lunch spot, good ingredients and yummy sandwiches. I had the chili today and it was great! Good veggie options as well. Very nice people working there, they went out of their way to make our experience better. Will continue coming back to support this local restaurant.

Garden Spot is a little hidden gem! I first experienced them as a catering company - the price, options, and speed was all right - and I was blown away. It sound ridiculous to say that catered sandwiches were something to write home about, but they actually were. Now I go there for lunch pretty regularly. You can call ahead if you're in a rush, but ordering there doesn't take long even when it's crowded. I'd recommend the Cancun Turkey Wrap (with Hummus).

Garden Spot Cafe has incredible customer service and amazing food. The majority of the stuff is made in-house, and as a person who is usually left unsatisfied with vegetarian dishes, I am in LOVE with their veggie sandwich. I think the pricing is fair, too, and I am a regular customer of theirs. Definitely try it out! It may become your favorite go-to spot as it is mine and my coworkers.
