Bill Miller Bar-b-q

I love Bill Miller and visited this location three or four times during my couple of months living in South Austin. I fondly remember eating at Bill Miller as a college student in San Antonio and had only eaten at one once in the last eight years because I moved to a different part of the state that doesn't have them. I had been warned that they no longer have the big portions from before, but I still found myself having a hearty meal and couldn't always finish it. The brisket, potato salad, cole slaw, and fries are as delicious as I remember. The seating area is clean and the bathrooms are too. Staff was friendly. Can't wait to go back once I'm back in the area!

Had a hankering for some BBQ but didn't have much time in between activities and I didn't want to spend $20 or more on it, so the drive thru service was super convenient and 1 meat with 3 sides platter was plenty filling and tasty. The meat wasn't spectacular but it did the trick. It's what I would expect for chain BBQ and probably how they keep their prices reasonable. The drive thru attendant was helpful and nice. I would go back when I'm wanting quick and easy and inexpensive BBQ.

My first experience here was awesome! A friend of mine told me that low key the breakfast tacos are great and it’s true. I had a potato and guisada taco and dang it was awesome! Those tortillas though! Who would have thought this bbq joint has great tortillas? Also, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the triple stack of pancakes are here. To top it off, the dining in, the service was friendly too.

Solid bill millers spot, the food is great and consistent. I always take my family visiting from out of state here, at least for one meal. Will say that the staff at times is inconsistent in regards to attentiveness and politeness. Never rude but you see a variation at times. Highly recommend the wild bill for anyone who loves a food poboy sandwich! Comes with brisket and sausage. 👌🏻 Few notes to bare in mind here: - I would not recommend DoorDash-ing from here unless you are hyper specific in your notes. To many times I have an either not received what I requested or had things come slightly different, either extra ingredients or missing some. - the drive through is very slow at times and there have been multiple experiences where either the intercom on one of ends wasn’t working well. So ordering became a bit of a hassle. Highly recommend just parking and walking in. 9/10 times it was faster and better.
