In the heart of downtown, this provides a reasonable option. It isn't the best (personally I think Austin Terrier more North in Austin has pita sandwiches that win hands down) but still pretty great. I remember it being pretty easy to customize your order.

I think this is a great option for pitas, and definitely try the Falafel!

I visited the Pita Pit when I was attempting to ward off an impending hangover. The babaganoush (I love that word, don't you?) was fantabulous and is a bona fide hangover cure. Take that, menudo. The service was wonderful considering the staff had to deal with a herd of drunk, loud and obnoxious rat boys and their equally inebriated dates.

Tzatziki Sauce is great and I love the pitas here. Would definitely recommend. Great alternative to fast food.
