The main reason for my rating is the lovely music played outside for the guests! I know it is played as a deterrent and Opera/Classical isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it definitely made this opera/classical performers night to hear such lovely music! Also the way the young lady was navigating the crowd from behind the counter was very professional given the amount of traffic seen by this location! Keep up the good work your business in this location is going in the right direction in my opinion! Bravissimo! 🍾🥂♥️😁

Imagine if the city of Austin handled it's homeless problem instead of ignoring it while businesses try and survive. The classical music is a great idea, but it is sad you have to try these sort of tactics when the police won't do their job

It's 7-11. You get what you expect, albeit with less amenities than newer, larger stores. Being 7-11 though, it's 24 hours, and despite it's age and small size it's still better than most convenience stores. The staff is generally competent as long as you can find someone who isn't new (high turnover rate) and don't have a problem with a money transfer/PayPal services, or questions regarding things like the rewards program, the app or other issues that are honestly best handled by someone at a call center. They have a high tolerance for problematic customers and this often results in additional checkout time. They stopped selling gas several years ago and good riddance if you ask me; the pumps were the ancient analog sort and there's a very high level of pedestrian traffic as it's at the convergence of several bus lines and on the way to a city high school. Regardless of time of day there will likely be at least one person outside the store asking everyone who passes for money, sometimes right outside the door. There doesn't seem to be much the staff can do about it. If this is an anxiety trigger for you, plan ahead and have a couple of quarters on you or a dollar bill already taken out so you don't have to open your purse or wallet or worry about saying no.

I have been using this 7-Eleven for awhile now usually by ordering through the app. Today I ended up going inside to get a few things. I got 2 slurpees which I rarely get so I am a bit unfamiliar with the machines. Well, they ended up overflowing and spilling which caused a huge mess. I tried to help clean it up off of the counter but did not clean it up off of the floor. That was taken care of immediately by the employees. However they were really upset over the situation. I did apologize profusely to them but they still were very bothered. I do feel really horrible about the whole situation and hope the hard working employees know that they do an amazing job even when dealing with a screw up like me.

The owner is extremely nice and thorough. Immediately after walking he stopped cleanibg and asked if there was anything he could do to help me. I had ordered a full pizza over the phone. He asked if I needed further condiments and then told me how to save money in the future by the free rewards program they offer. I never thought I'd review a 7/11 but the owner made the small, quick experience very welcoming.
