Everything from the appetizers to the entrées were amazing! Randomly found this spot whilst vacationing in Austin! I recommend the in house Risotto and the Lasagna Bolognese! Menu changes daily I believe! I don’t understand the difference between this place and Vespaio which shows up differently on Google…

Cool little spot in south Congress. Had the calamari as an app and the carbonara for entree. Both were delicious. Also had a tasty beverage but forget what it was called. Would definitely return.

Lovely Italian restaurant on SoCo, great ambience and delicious food, taste fresh, nice wine selection, the waitress was very attentive and helped to answer any question in the menu

The staff were attentive and friendly. The meatloaf I ordered was salty but the rest of our order was okay. They get busy and full especially at night,so expect to wait to get seated.

Wine was tasty, cocktails were well made, and the pizza was delicious. Thin crust and just the right amount of char on the dough.

Some of the best pizza I've had in a while, the Caesar was amazing, I loved the buttero cocktail, and everyone was masked up! I'll definitely be back soon.

Incredible Italian food, with great service and outdoor seating (before the cold front moves in--not sure if they have patio heaters). It was my wife's birthday dinner. We had a beautiful and leisurely time there, from appetizer to dessert, and everything in between, with leftovers to go. She said it was the best Italian food she's had in a few years.

Tasty neighbourhood Italian. Great selection of apps, pasta dishes + other specials. We've been to both Vespaio and Encoteca and think we prefer slightly more laid back Encoteca. Very friendly service and good wine and beer too. We'll definitely be back.
