Texican Cafe nails the Tex-Mex experience with flavorful dishes and a welcoming ambiance. The enchiladas are a personal favorite, and the salsa has just the right amount of spice. It's my go-to spot when I'm craving authentic and satisfying Mexican cuisine in Austin.

Good Mexican food and decent prices. Texican Cafe has a good kids menu too. They have a full bar with plenty of margaritas and beers to choose from. It can get a little busy on the weekends. So just plan a little for that.

Good solid Mexican restaurant. Food is good, variety of margaritas and beers. Servers seem to be running a round a bit, might be short staffed this last time there. We go about once a month.

The service is great, it's my favorite restaurant, and the food is so good. They get a waiter almost after you get comfortable. The place is clean with music in the background. And you can even watch sports near the bar. I have always loved the place so it's a solid 5 stars. Take out is fast if you have a small or medium sized meal.

This is in Austin tradition that has been around for as long as I can remember. The food is delicious! It has been consistently delicious for at least 35 years. The service is always great and I love the fact that they offer a margarita flight if you can't make up your mind, lol 😂

Our waiter first off was outstanding. He got every detail of our order correct and was attentive and tend to our part perfectly. The food was prepared as we requested and brought out at the perfect temperature for eating. The ingredients tasted fresh, well prepared, and very tasty. We have visited this location twice so far, and each time we we're glad we came.

My family has been going to the Texican sense I was a child. The food is ALWAYS good! Good drinks good atmosphere I love texican!

Come for the salsa, stay for the enchiladas! They have an extensive menu that will suite any tastes and dietary restrictions. I highly recommend the chipotle chicken enchiladas or the green chili enchiladas (not spicy but flavorful). The servers are great and can accommodate any size party. Speaking of parties, they have a banquet area for larger family gatherings.
