The South Shore Eatery

This is the best apartment anywhere on Riverside Dr or close to the lake. It is very well- maintained and run. The premises are always clean, and any requests are always completed quickly. Adan and Joyce are super- friendly and did an awesome job helping me transfer to a different unit. All units are really nice regardless of size.

I highly recommend AMLI South Shore. The site is beautifully maintained, in a great location, and offers many other perks from discounts at businesses around town, tons of workspaces, parking, etc. In addition, the Leasing Office / Management team is exceptional. As a new resident, they’ve gone above and beyond to ensure I feel at home. Shoutout to Miriam, Liz and executive management who have been especially kind.

Apartment complex is well maintained and clean, the units have wonderful finishes. The community is very dog friendly and the location is incredible. Worked with Adan when we moved in who has been incredible, timely responses, very knowledgeable and very evident he wants the best for the community. If you looking for a great spot near downtown, this is the place.

My husband and I have lived here for 2 months now. We flew down once and loved the amenities and location but really wanted a unit with a view of the lake. The second time we flew down, a lakefront unit was available, and we jumped on it. We've been really happy here so far. Amenities are nice, common areas aren't very crowded and are often empty. Our unit was very clean at move-in time, and all the communal amenities are deep-cleaned daily, which is great. Access to the lakeside trail is a huge plus. I've always been able to find a parking spot in the building 7 garage, even when coming home late (3-5am) from work. Being in the same complex as 1618 Asian Fusion is a HUGE perk; such a fantastic restaurant to have nearby. Tenants are all very friendly Adan is wonderful, and was so helpful in showing us the community and facilitating our move from out of state. He frequently checks in to see how things are going and ask if there's anything that could be improved upon. Cons: - We love a dog-friendly community, but the smell of dog urine on the turf can be pretty rank at times. Not sure that anything could be done about this, but worth knowing before moving in. - As an ER vet, I really hate dog parks, but I use AMLI's to allow my dog some off-leash time when it's otherwise empty. The interior doors are easily opened by a smart dog, so not the safest. Would love some more shade in the dog parks too. - Would love a dog blow dryer in the paw wash station (def a luxury, but would be super nice!) - Packages are all delivered to the main leasing building, and there aren't any nearby trash or recycling bins to unwrap deliveries and make them easier to carry back to your building. - Gym leaves a lot to be desired. We have a Gold's membership and only use the community gym for cardio and quick lifts, but would love to see some easybars, heavier weights, squat rack, ab machine, etc. - Small key fobs would be really handy for building/unit access. Pulling out my phone can be cumbersome, and the wallet cards are really big to carry around day-to-day. Overall would give 4.5 stars; definitely made the right choice moving in, but some small improvements would be great.

I have lived at Amli Southshore for over a year now. The location is amazing and we love making easy use of the trail for nightly walks, morning bike rides, and the easy paddleboard launch dock. I met my partner here (he's my neighbor) and it has made enjoying this community that much better. The staff is wonderful and friendly and the upkeep to the property's aesthetic is excellent. The rooftop has a gorgeous view to relax with friends and wine and catch the beautiful Austin sunset and the community spaces are always clean and beautiful.

Nice place. Good location. Clean facilities. My only real complaint is the huge metal doors all around that exit to the parking garage and SLAM really loud at all hours. It sounds like a gunshot from within my apartment. It's not hard to put little hydraulic arms on doors that keep them from slamming, but I guess that technology hasn't made it here yet.

I love the community of AMLI South Shore. The direct access to the trail and lake is ideal. The location is perfect for my needs. The staff is amazing and quick to help. I also appreciate that all communal areas are always kept clean (including all hallways). Plus they provide nice gifts for residents randomly (like snacks, an event at the apt, etc)

I moved to Amli South Shore a couple months ago and I love my unit! It’s a little bigger and cheaper compared to my previous place. The leasing office staff are all so friendly and helpful, particularly Adan! Before my move, Adan stayed in contact and helped keep track of all the paperwork that needed to be submitted. It was quite an easy process. He really took his time to show me all the units that I wanted to check out. If you’re interested in living at the Amli, Adan is your guy!!

Adan is the absolute BEST. He is always willing to help, and he is incredibly competent at his job. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be living here. Regarding AMLI, I would give 4 stars. There are some issues with property maintenance (ex:I haven't seen the fireplace working since I moved in here, trash collection doesn't happen reliably, broken chairs in front of the lake, etc), but overall I am happy to live here.

I'm excited to move into AMLI South Shore. I must have looked at everything available in Austin right now, from downtown, the eastside, south, and west. I found myself coming back to AMLI South Shore...literally 4 times. Adan has been amazing throughout this moving journey. Adan is professional, attentive, supportive, and has a great positive attitude. This property is beautiful, well maintained and in a great location.
