Koya Asian Kitchen

My wife and I have been coming to the Leander/Austin area for this past year due to the deteriorating health of my parents. My wife absolutely loves Chinese food and asked my parents neighbor for a recommendation for a good Chinese restaurant in the Austin area. The neighbor indicated there are many restaurants in the area but if we do not mind a 20 mile drive there is a excellent restaurant off Baloney Woods. She could not remember the name but stated it used to be called Peony's. We enter the name in Google Maps and this restaurant appeared. We decided to try it since we were already here. What a pleasant surprise! We met the owner who welcomed us with the ost pleasant t smile and treated us as VIP guest. She then proceeded to make pleasant small talk and recommend a couple of dishes for us to try. My wife ordered the Beef with Black bean sauce with white rice. I ordered the House Spicy Shrimp. We alway had the Wonton and Hot Sour soups. We were so impressed with out meals and the company of the owner and the staff we now stop and eat at this restaurant on each visit as we did today for lunch. I brought my dad and mom as well they rave about this restaurant each time I come to visit. If you have not visited this restaurant I encourage you to do so you will not be disappointed.
