Church's Chicken

This places was surprisingly clean. Although, it's small it was perfect. I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to cleanliness, especially when there's food involved. I was really amazed, and the staff was genuinely friendly. I'll be back especially on Tuesday's because I like their special. I found it to be better than their competitors too!

My experience may not be the average. I pulled up to the drive through planning to order food for a home ridden friend (her initial request was canes, they were closed) having never been there before i was pressured to order as soon as I pulled up. Please keep in mind you can't read the menu until you are pulled up the microphone. My anxiety increased exponentially when asked what side I preferred, I couldn't find the 'sides' on the menu!! That is user error, maybe i could have been prepared, I'll own that. BUT it was clear the drive-through attendant had zero patience with my fumbling order. Pulling up to the window I hear him tell another employee, "I can't deal with this car." The other employee hands me my drinks and tells me my order will take another minute or so and instructs me to pull ahead and park, they will bring the food out. Twenty-five (25) minutes after I put my car in park the initial attendant brings food out to a car that was behind me in the drive through. OUCH Dude sees me and it's clear he forgot about me, he offers to give me an extra side and my initial 'side order trauma' resurfaces, I freeze BECAUSE I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT SIDES THEY OFFER. When I finally got my food and made it to my friends, I couldn't tell you if it was good food or not, it was edible and I hadn't eaten in a day. The meal barely diminished my hanger, but I do live to see another day. Go here if you want, I'm sure my arrival was untimely, broken oven? Several large orders? **Just make sure you know what you want to order before looking at the menu.**

Cold food... I understand the use if heat lamps & not wanting to waste product. Nonetheless at some point there has to be some fresh food made to order. Still was willing to look past that until I realized the dining area was dirty. Food on the floor, tables not clean off after prior guest were long gone. This restaurant could use an upgrade or two as well.

If I could rate a negative 0 I would..The food is not up to par and order not made correctly. When telling the manager she acts as if we are the problem. They are very unprofessional at this location. It never fails you always have to wait for spicy chicken, and they always make our order wrong. This evening was the worst. AFTER today, they lost my business for good.

I wish I could say something profound d about Churches Chicken but I can't. It's the same as it was when I was young. With that being said it's still good. The sides have improved and you can't beat the quantity for the price. It's great to feed a large family, church function, funeral, or football game crew.
