Bella Victoria

Stopped here for dinner on a road trip. Everything seemed good. Split some mussels for an app. I got a chicken Caesar salad. My son got chicken parm with pasta. Everything seemed great. About 6 hours after eating, I woke up with nausea and horrible stomach pain. I threw up 4-5 times. Bad, lying on the bathroom floor in the hotel between episodes (gross!) it was horrible. The next day my stomach felt a little queasy but I was able to keep things down. My son was fine and he shared the appetizer. So I am assuming the salad was either not washed or not handled correctly, giving me food poisoning. So, moral of the story of you eat here stay away from the salad! I don’t wish what happened to me on anyone!

Exceptional food and service. EVERY TIME. Their lunch specials are great, but I also enjoy going there for dinner, too. I’ve tried about 6 different dishes and love every one, and their desserts are also to die for (my favorite is the chocolate tarte but husband swears by the pannicotta). If you want a romantic date, Wednesday is the best night (they have a multi-course special). Pictured is the Alfredo primavera and the pasta Milan, with a Caesar salad. SO GOOD.

Arrived in Austin for lunch and didn't want fast food. Considered the Appleby's nearby for a safe pick of average food but gave Bella Victoria a try instead. Boy were we in for a treat! Great food, portions and value. You HAVE to get the creamy tomato basil soup it's the best I've had and I've eaten on every continent.

We are on our way home from the Mall of America and decided to stop in Austin for something to eat. We found a Bella Victoria and we're in the mood for some Italian food. Our waitress was super nice and the food was good. I got a salad which was very good and my husband got the chicken alfredo and added broccoli and mushroom.
