The Grill Steakhouse

Overall the steak is great. Have been a few times and definitely recommended. Food can come out a bit rushed when it's the weekend and the restaurant is busy. Booking can be a bit of a let down. I've called up and booked for a certain time. When I show up they say nothing has been booked even after taking a name and a contact number. Tried telling them I literally rang 2 hours ago. This has happened twice now.

Exceptional food along with very reasonable prices, i would usually order a steak but with the surprising variety of mains to choose from i decided to go with a mixed grill and was not disappointed in the slightest, the only part of my experience i would not mark as five stars is table service as i found the staff to not to ask often enough for more drinks as our glasses were empty! I even asked for a drink and the waitress completely forgot! But apart from that still a five star experience and more than happy to return soon.

This was my 2nd time at this restaurant. On arrival we didn't have reservations but were quickly seated. It was not busy. We were 2 adults and one child. We had a look at the menu and ordered our foods. We adult had bottom less drinks. The food was good. Good portions apart from the starter of king prawns. I found it overpriced for what it was (4 prawns). You could not really taste the so call garlic and herbs. I ended up ordering the prawns cocktail. We should have gone for that from the start. More value for money on it. And tastier. So I def recommend the prawns cocktail for started it can also be easily shared by 2. My chicken was well cooked, and my friend stake was cooked well too. My kid enjoyed her burger and chips and had a ice cream in the end. Which wasn't too bad. Service was ok. No issues on payment. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. It would be nice if the kids many had something to keep the kids entertained. But I would otherwise say that is as family friendly restaurant.

The steak was brilliant. And what a plus that it's grass fed meat from a local farm! The glaze on the meat was fantastic and the sauces (I tried blue cheese and peppercorn) were stunning. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is due to the salad that came with the meal. It was like something you'd get with a cheap takeaway and looked exactly like Tescos 59p 'Sweet & Crunchy Salad' lol. Maybe a lettuce wedge or some rocket / babyleaf salad would have been better. Anyway, the restaurant looks good, the furniture and decor is high end and it was overall a good experience and would recommend.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Although a little on the pricy side, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. The steaks were cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The chips and the starters were very nice too. The absolute standout thing though was the house sauce that went with the steak. This was absolutely delicious and genuinely unique. The staff were very friendly too. I’d recommend the merlot if you’re looking for a good bottle of wine. I’d definitely come back here, and it’s certainly one of the best restaurants in Aylesbury.

Very good food (I'd recommend the steak and the lobster) Little bit pricey but the food justifies it and it isn't as expensive as similar places. The decor and general ambience is really lovely, kind of dark and candlelit so it's romantic, great for a date. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is very cosy and comfortable, and the outside area is really nice too! Somewhere I shall definitely continue to return to.
