First time I been there and the waitress was beyond helpful and very blunt which I love. The food was delicious, the rice had flavor , everything was great. Yes , I recommend it. Definitely going back.

Great tasting food in a quiet place. The restaurant was quite dark which made a pleasant change from the glare outside. I actually commented to my server about how good the salsa for the chips was. I had fajitas salad which was tasty and good value at about $8. My only gripe would be that despite only two other tables being occupied the service was rather slow, especially when it came to getting the check and paying.

Meat burrito were fairly packed I ordered them with extra meat for my husband an d his crew they absolutely loved them! But for me it was a bit salty for my liking. I also had the albondigas I took a star off because the amount of rice it came as a side with was super SMALL.

The food was excellent, authentic Mexican food, the atmosphere was nice, the only issue was there was only one waitress who took a long time in helping you she did not go by to refill your chips & Salsa. A little pricey but you left full.

The food and service is good here. The atmosphere is very casual. The prices are decent. I wouldn't call this place romantic but, its a cool place to grab a good bite. I just went to a mexican restaurant by the Garces circle and I think El Aquacate's food is better.

Now this place is OFF THE HOOK GREAT....! I love the food, the people & the experience. I am usually greeted within moments of walking in & seated very quickly. Sometimes you might have to wait a little bit for your food but this only happens when it gets real busy but worth the wait in my opinion. Try it I feel you will love it

They have the best Menudo in town. We have tried other places but theirs is always consistent with flavor. The chili Verde omelette is great too. Love the owner she is so friendly.

The food was ok but the portion size was too small for the price. My 8 dollar torta was small with very little meat. Next time I will just go to La Barca downtown for a Super Torta for the same price.
