La Fonda Taqueria Y Mariscos

The service was great, only second to the GREAT food!! We loved everything from the chips and salsa to the peppers in the fajitas to the chili verde enchiladas! My husband really liked the refried beans, and he usually isn’t a fan. All fabulous! The place is cozy and very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be back.

Absolute hidden diamond in the rough. Very small unassuming taqueria on Niles East Bakersfield. When you walk inside you will see many tables filled with people eating with thier families a bright easy to read menu hangs over the order counter featuring breakfast items traditional entrees such as tacos, burritos, torta, menudo etc what really impressed me was the fajitas shrimp Diablo and even fresh raw oyser on the menu. Feeling adventurous I got shrimp tacos, fish tacos, carne fries chili Verde burrito and a half dozen raw Oysters for myself and my husband. I CANNOT say anything bad about this place the food is amazing the seafood is out of this world oysters are fresh and plump just delicious they staff is friendly and everything is very clean. Doesn't look like much from the outside but that keeps a good secret
