Los Tucanes Taqueria

Pretty authentic Mecican food, reasonably priced and good quality. I usually order the shrimp taco plate and substitute wholesale beans and salad for refried beans (with lard) and white rice. Customers order at the counter. Then the hot, freshly prepared food is taken to the table. Los Tucanes also offers freshly made horchata, which I order on occasion. The restaurant atmosphere is somewhat of a hybrid between fast food and a sit down restaurant.

If you order using DoorDash then expect ice cold food and a watered down soda from the melted ice. It’s best if the restaurant switches to a company like UberEats where there are more drivers. I didn’t expect my food to be driven around in someone’s car for 2 hours while they deliver 3 orders in front of mine. As for the food, I asked for green salsa on my carne asada tacos yet they gave me red. The tacos had no taste what so ever and the red sauce they put on them had no spice to it. These were some of the worst tacos I ever ate! I also ordered a bean and cheese burrito, which was soggy :/
