Garrison's Seafood Express

In comparison to Sea Breeze fish market of yesteryear, it's a nice alternative. However, the menu selections are smaller. No fried oysters or slaw. They ran out of cod on my visit at 11AMish. Catfish was being offered as an alternative. The batter wasn't what I expected in terms of look or texture, but the taste was good.

This is my favorite seafood joint in town. The batter on the fish and shrimp is AMAZING. Fair prices and it has a nice hole in the wall feel. I loved everything I tried here, the tilapia, catfish, shrimp, fries, coleslaw, even their tartar sauce is great. Easy recommendation!! Definitely try out Garrison's, you won't be disappointed.

Great place for some fish and chips! The place was very clean, the service was great and the food tasted wonderful. We ordered the cod and fries and catfish. The batter that they use is great. They were both crispy on the outside and really moist on the inside. The steak fries are also delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely be back

The food is prepared well, I've been 3 times in the last week; my first experience potato salad was missing from my order, I called back to let them know, they said they'd replace the salad on my next visit, 3 days later 2nd visit I called told them what happened and I was coming in, I had to explain to the young lady several times what happened and that since I was ordering the same meal instead of getting 2 salads could I have a 3rd piece of fish since I was gonna have to use my gas to come back, after she spoke to someone and said yes I could; however when I got there they told me they put 2 salads and charged me for 3rd fish, I tried to explain that wasn't the agreement made when I placed the order, smh I brought meal any way. Today 3rd visit I tried calling at 6:47 pm and the phone sent me to voicemail saying hours closed I believe on Monday and Tuesday from 1-2 or something like that, I drove over and granted I arrived at 6:56, the lady was gonna take my order and the person in the kitchen told her they weren't taking any more orders, I told her I was trying to call but phone was set up as if already closed, she apologized and said they were busy. To me if I've tried to call you, I arrive b4 your closing time I should be waited on, also if you make a mistake on my order not only should you correct your mistake but also take into account I'm having to come back utilizing my vehicle so the least you could have done was honor my request on my 2nd visit!
