Friendly staffs. The wait for food was quite long as we observed the serving from kitchen to other tables as well (might be understaff in the kitchen?) but wait time is not the reason I have only 3 stars as I understand their pressure if understaff. Tonight we ordered: 1. Kids ham and pineapple pizza - taste alright since my little one is not that fussy 2. Kids bolognese pasta - portion is quite small as compared to many other places 3. Porterhouse steak medium rare with red wine jus + green veg and mashed potato (extra $) - the steak is cooked perfectly but the quality of cut is very chewy and not a pleasant piece of steak to have. The red wine jus is lack of the red wine punch, instead it tasted more like soy sauce. Mash potato is yummy though. 4. Grilled salmon - the combination of hot crispy grilled salmon on a bed of cold potato salad is not my preference. Potato salad itself taste good but I find it doesn’t go well with the grilled salmon, unfortunately. Only after we finished our meal and rechecking the menu we found out the kids meals include a pack of juice and an activity pack which we could have missed if we didn’t ask! When asked and provided, it was time for us to leave. Shame that the kids could have use the waiting time doing the activity pack. The serving staffs perhaps can take note of this? With about $100 spent, our palates and tummies are not completely satisfied. Will we come back again? Sorry, it’s a no from us.

Overall Good food the barra I had could of been cooked a little longer I didn't like the texture I think it's freezer barra which is disappointing. The beans that went with it were too crunchy for me. Nice place I miss the live music tho really adds to the atmosphere. Cocktails need to be improved please.

Was at a private function for the Jack's engagement party at The Chase Bar and Bistro on Sat night, was very nice. The Bar staff was nice and we had a Bar tab, nice private area roped off for us and very friendly party members. They had food getting offered around and a table of help yourself food. There was a live band in the main area of the pub playing good music and a few children dancing with earmuffs on. Good night

Really disappointed with our food we got here on Monday.. We ordered a few starters, and the portions sizes, and overall taste was awful.. The Salmon skewers were so salty, way too much soy.. The Pork and Apple Sausage rolls were tiny.. dry and had no sign of apple flavour or even resembled what it was meant to taste like.. The Pork sliders were sooooo dry.. there was absolutely no moisture throughout.. Hardly any staff on the bar.. the line was almost out the front entrance way, with so many people looking around in the line, wondering when they would be served.. We Spent $78, and we were absolutely gutted about the food.. It was a complete waste of time!! And MONEY.. Would never go back, or recommend... The portion sizes were so pathetic.. we ended up going somewhere else afterwards as we were so ripped off.. Normally when we go to places, we are quite content with a few starters, as the portions at other places are really quite reasonable, filling and taste amazing.. not here! We left one Pork slider and 2 dried up Sausage rolls on the plate. Because there was no one free to discuss the matter. It was ridiculous..
