Choate Bbq

I tried a two meat combo (ribs and jerk chicken) with baked beans and green beans. The ribs were tender and juicy, and the chicken had a lot of flavor. The sides were good, too. I'll have to go back and try their brisket - they had sold out already by the time I stopped by. The employees were very nice.

Brunswick Stew- fabulous though too sweet for me overall trades out with flavor and quantity of meats and other ingedients. Has kick very lightly. Only 1 size 16oz while menu on website not synced, that's ok too in the world today. Wow, can't wait to taste Mac and cheese, saw it and there won't be any letdown.

Won't be going here again. I love BBQ and have heard that they have some of the best around, but after visiting I can't agree with the reviews. The food was pretty lacking, I can understand prices have gone up but I don't feel like I got my money's worth at all. $26 for a half rack and 2 sides. One of my ribs didn't even have a bone, it was just sheered off part of another rib. Seemed like the ribs I got were all small end ribs, with one normal sized rib thrown in. All the ribs already individually cut. The meat was over salted and cooked too fast, smoked ribs should have a bit of char on them but they were very charred to the point where the meat itself was not tender at all. Didn't feel well after finishing the meal. Overall not impressed at all considering how good of reviews they have. I would suggest going somewhere else.

This restaurant came to my job on 11/10/2021 and the employees working were extremely rude! The guy called me out of my name due to me changing my order. You all need to hire better people to service the public especially in a federal building. They both were VERY unprofessional and would get upset when someone changed their order. If you don’t like your job quit. Also as you can see he wasn’t following Covid protocols by wearing gloves when servicing others with food.

NOPE!!Horrible Customer service.....Chemo patient looking for food to eat when sometimes it's hard for us who receives chemo treatments to eat. Found seafood pasta at UNCLE Cs as part of fooda they come set up at Cancer center in Lawrenceville, GA. The guy was packing up to leave and told me I couldn't sample the seafood pasta which, there was only about 2 scoops left & it looked like it had been sitting there for hours. so I didnt know if it was cold or what. Everyone knows what restaurants do with food when its time to close. They throw it away. I asked nicely if I could sample the last of the pasta. He told me very rudely " I knew u just wanted a hook up when u first walked over here" which was very unprofessional and stereotypical. I didn't say anything I just walked off & called the store. Considering I just received chemo, I had no energy to reply. When I called the manager or owner was cool at first. I told him what happened he apologized and said well since hes packing up he probably could've just gave you the rest for free. Which I think any restaurant or donut shop or something "would" knowing your just going to throw it out anyway. After he saw this post he called my phone asking if i gave him a 1 star... angry, mad and started going off on me. Like I don't have my on opinion. Don't beware of me. lol I'm just an honest consumer who wanted something to eat after my chemo. Its not my fault you chose the wrong people to work for you. Your in a hospital for god sake. I don't want anything that can make me sick. Asking for a SAMPLE of something that looks like it was sitting for a minute is not a reason for you nor your employee to become rude. I would never ask for anything free. That's not me. I definitely won't give them 5 stars because of customer service and looking at the response of the owner makes the customer service worse.

Just finished devouring the chopped jerk chicken sandwich. Deeee-licous, will definitely come back. Good portion of meat on the sandwich, sauce was flavorful with a little bit of heat. If you in Acworth give them a try. I believe its family ran, they were friendly and will be back. They have a food truck too!!

Delicious barbecue at a very reasonable price. Well worth the stop. From the moment I walked in I was greeted kindly, almost like family. I had a pork sandwich with slaw and a very delicious sauce. I chose the hot over the mild and it was slightly spicy, but not hot, I highly recommend it. They are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 until 7:00. They have a varied menu from pork or chicken sandwiches, plates, ribs and vegetables. You can eat in or carry out.

I have been looking for Uncle C's BBQ a while now & I finally found it & stopped in. They r so friendly & they feel like family. Their BBQ ,BBQ CHICKEN & BBQ RIBS & ALL THE FIXING TO GO WITH THEM R SO GREAT . IF U WANT THE BEST BBQ IN TOWN GET YOUR FAMILY & GO TO HWY 92 & ITS PAST BELLS FERRY RD ON THE LEFT TOWARDS ACWORTH &....U WILL NOT B SORRY. OPEN THRU - SAT 11AM TO 7 PM
