Harry Limes

We have had many celebrations & meals at Harry limes over the past 6 years.The service has always been spot on & the food is scrumptiously good.The menu has a good variety of dishes and I just love the white rose dumplings. They go above & beyond to please & even in covid their takeaway service has been absolutely delicious.If you love Vietnamese you can’t go past Harry Limes run by a Vietnamese family.

We ordered the Vietnamese seafood but, what we weren’t told was we needed to cook it ourselves. I particularly decided on a restaurant to have a night off cooking! Well you certainly also need to know how to cook as all the pieces require different timings, so lucky we both can cook. It wasn’t like a sukiyaki where everything cooks nicely together. And it cost $90! What, for some seafood and veggies! It also gets spattered over you. I wanted to enjoy a chat with my partner rather than bothering to cook. We also shared the ‘bruschetta’ which was not at all like a bruschetta, rather a couple of pieces of square toast with toppings. It certainly wasn’t the focaccia that was mentioned on the menu. The waiter bragged about the steamed barramundi and how huge it was. Well, we saw one served to another customer and it was of ordinary size and cost $50! We felt ripped off and unsatisfied.

Lovely meal and attentive service. Atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. A bit too warm for me and even though the air conditioner was turned on when requested, it was still a bit warm. Maybe I could have asked earlier but we were seated in the back and the unit was in the front. Would be easy to miss this little gem if you weren't looking for it. Well will return.

Amazing service, amazing meal. We had 4 adults and one child and when we arrived we were seated straight away by lovely staff. The entrees were delicious and was followed by a wonderful meal which at the end of, we were giving a chocolate to finish on a sweet note! We will definitely be coming back here again! 😊
