Ballarista

We were visiting Ballarat and stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to have a Sunday breakfast. The decor is gorgeous, and the staff were so friendly. I highly recommend the stuffed mushroom dish (can't recall the exact name sorry), really delicious!! I wasn't the biggest fan of the skull pictures on one of the walls (a bit morbid for a Sunday morning), but I do love that they use that space as an art space to display work of local artists. Really great idea! Also the music was quite nice, really relaxing. Just a fantastic relaxing breakfast spot in the middle of town.

A very welcome addition to the traveller and locals of Ballarat, this cafe makes a very decent coffee and makes good food. The owner has put a lot of effort into making it very welcoming and that is very appreciated. The Cheese kransky with sauerkraut was great as was my partner's BLT. Highly recommended

Ambience is casual and it is a good hangout place for bar food and sports. I wasnt happy with the service. The server acted entitled and was not pleasant to deal with, despite having a large group. I wouldn't go back because of the experience. I may consider it if the food was better and the staff was nicer.
