Jimmy's Famous Seafood

Stop what you’re doing in Baltimore and go visit Jimmy’s. Their food, especially the crab cakes and crab cake egg rolls, are the Best food we had in Baltimore. If there’s a drawback I’d say there’s too many great options. The one option I couldn’t live without was our server, Lauren A. She was phenomenal with a great knowledge of the menu, the restaurant history and more. Ask for her when you go there!

LOVE this spot! Jimmy’s food is outstanding! The customer service is great and the environment is pretty nice. The bartenders pour generously and the drinks are always on point. There are 3 bars. One in the lobby of the main dining room; a sports bar in the back of the restaurant and another bar above the sports bar, which I just learned, has a DJ on Saturday nights. They have 2 nice outdoor seating areas with heaters during the cold months. Crab lover right here, so my faves are the crabcake eggrolls, crab balls, crab dip w/ garlic bread, crab toast and the oyster Rockefeller. They stay fairly busy so get a reservation, when you can, if you prefer the main dining room. Otherwise, the bars are totally fine. They have 2 parking lots. One in front and the other in the back of the restaurant.

We drove 2 hours just to try seafood from Jimmy's. We were seated quickly but by the door to the patio. So, the draft everytime the door opens was not appealing. The waiting seamed to have forgotten us at first but took cared of us. He recommended the vegetarian pasta for my partner. For me, he suggested the the Maryland crab soup with was good eventhough I don't like tomato based food. He also recommended the 1/2 DZ M/L Mix MALE which was meaty and a lot for one person to eat. I ended up taking home 3 crabs. It was boiled with a salt seasoning. I had it without the butter sauce and it still tasted good.

This place is good. The service was great! I plan to go back and try more of the menu. The Crab Cakes didn't disappoint! The Wontons were the best thing we had. Oh, and the seasonal cocktails are worth the $11. The honey and pumpkin hot toddy was AMAZING! The Crab Benny wasn't what I expected bc the eggs weren't poached and they forgot the sauce but the Crab cakes were the star. French toast was very good use the syrup it pulls all the flavors together. Also, there is ample parking which is a real win!

Went here twice, and each experience was great! The food was great each time. We got a variety of things. We started with the crab cake egg rolls and fried calamari. Then we got one special Surf N Turf, seafood Burrito, and Crab cake with it. I personally got the crabby patty with fries, which was amazing. We also got an Orioles Roll, which we all enjoyed. My best friend got the surf n Turf that he loved. Then my wife got the Seafood Burrito, which she was supposed to get sweet potato wedges with but got chips instead. She said the Burrito was mainly fried rice but it still had good flavor. But she did order the Crab Mac and was awesome. Overall, great experience and food, plus I'd like to add that we've sat at the bar area both times.
