Diamond Tavern

Attached to the Hilton in Bmore, this is a great spot to grab a drink and bite to eat before the game. Food is well prepared and delicious. Service from the kitchen was a bit slow the last time I went but the manager made up for it with thos set of complimentary Baltimore Bloody Mary's, a breakfast in itself. Service is friendly and helpful.

Dined here 3 times All three times it was a similar experience the hostess that does not greet you with a smile but only a frown and acts like it’s a bother just to seat you. All three times the waitress took our order and someone else delivered the food and no one came back a few minutes later to see if everything was all right and all three occasions there was something wrong with the order- And all three occasions the server never came back during the meal to even check on us for additional items only showed up to deliver the bill Clearly to me this is all about management no one is training these people and no one is supervising

Working nearby, I have enjoyed a quick lunch at Diamond Tavern on numerous occasions with friends and coworkers. On my most recent trip, the food continued to be delicious but service was atrocious. The place was pretty empty but our food still took forever to arrive at our table. Our waitress disappeared. I eventually got tired of waiting, looked for her around the restaurant, and eventually took my bill to the hostess for processing. She tried to find the waitress as well, but no luck so she eventually processed our bill so we could leave.

Poorly managed restaurant. Wait staff was very slow and non-responsive. We ate there a few times during our 4 day stay. Each time it was the same. Sit and wait 5-10 minutes on a server to come by; order the food and wait 40+ minutes on that; finish your food and wait another 10 minutes on someone to come by to ask for the check: wait another 5 minutes on the check. We went in one evening for dinner because we wanted to stay within the hotel due to weather. We were seated and handed a xeroxed sheet of paper with a list of sandwiches and salads. We asked where the full dinner menu posted at the door was, and the hostess told us that they were not using that because they were too busy. ...???... The restaurant may have been seated at 50% capacity. I also think that it is in very poor taste to hand a customer a Xeroxed copy of a menu on a sheet of paper that is wrinkled up from overuse when you are charging 25-35$ for each dish. ...just poor taste. The food was very average despite the fact that they charged you like you were at some fine dining establishment, and the food and level of service was no where near that level.

High prices for average food. Connected to hotel and was recommended by front hotel staff. Tried this place two days for breakfast due to lack of other options near by. The pancake meal with a drink will run you over $20 for one. And pancake meal includes 4 pancakes, no sides, just pancakes, pretty dry and dull. The two eggs meal was better and came with a variety of food and about the same price range. I've had better quality meals for half the price at other establishments. Service was ok. In short don't expect any diamonds here.

Went to dinner with a group of my friends. Food was okay. But I got charged with "unknown" additional beverage and one of my friends got charged twice. I called the manager Jereme and he said he would refund the money to me. However, money wasn't refunded. I left multiple messages to the restaurant but never get a reply from the manger again. Poor and unprofessional service. I do not recommend this restaurant at all
