Ruth's Chris Steak House

We dined 12/9/23 and had a great experience. Our server was great and super knowledgeable and friendly. Came with three people, we all ordered the same thing. The petite filet cooked medium. Everyone’s steak was a different temperature. Mine was more rare than medium, my mother’s steak was more medium well, and my father’s steak was the only one who was closest to what medium would be. The caesar salad was amazing, and the onion rings were hot and crispy but needed a little salt. The bathrooms were a little dirty, I expected better from a fine steak house. The food was good overall. I would recommend visiting.

Food is always amazing at Ruth's Chris. I went with the Porter house this time and it was cooked to perfection. Service is the issue with this Ruth's Chris. And not the waitres as she was amazing. The problem is timing. I host a ton of dinner programs their for pharmaceutical talks and always ask to have the dessert come out quick. Ugh they just can't get it done. Takes sometimes an additional hour and we have to work in the morning! Come on guys!! Anyway, great food but may have to try Capital Grille or other places for awhile.

Husband had planned to take me one place for my birthday dinner and we ended up here instead. One of the greatest changes made. Everything was great. The steak was so juicy and tender. We both got the three course meal. And next time I will definitely choose either a medallion or filet mignon. The cheesecake was a perfect size for me. I always feel it’s too much for such a rich dessert but this was great. We will have to budget for the next time we go. But definitely will be back. Happy 40th to me.

My husband and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary at the Harbor East location of Ruth's Chris. As a note, we have a little bit of a tradition visiting Ruth's Chris for anniversary celebrations. We've enjoyed our experience at all locations, but the Baltimore location was incredible. I cannot overstate how wonderful the experience was or how special the team made us feel during one of the busiest times for dinner. Our server, Michael, was personable and continued to check in on us as we awaited our meal. He was friendly and funny. He offered to take pictures of us at the end of our meal to commemorate the occasion. When our food arrived, the steak was perfect. We ordered the Porterhouse Steak for two, and the team made sure to check that it was cooked to our liking. Near the end of our meal, the General Manager, Eduardo Suarez, stopped by to check in and chat with us. He was very knowledgeable about Ruth's Chris history and steak and was very friendly. He discussed that hospitality was a major focus of his location, which was very clear while dining there. We look forward to returning to the amazing location for future anniversary celebrations. We cannot thank the entire team enough from the front to the back of the house. Thank you! If you have something special to celebrate and enjoy a good steak and great people, we could NOT recommend Harbor East Ruth's Chris enough. 10/10

We celebrated a birthday there! The food, ambience, and service was amazing! We had ribeye steak, lamb chops, petite steaks! Along with Brussel sprouts, sweet potato casserole, and crab fried rice! For dessert we had a complimentary cheesecake as well! Let’s talk about the drinks though….5-Stars! Amaretto Sour and the Pear Lemon Drops!

Daniel our main server and Daniela our attendant were very kind, knowledgeable about the menu and all things acting. I was pleasantly surprised by Daniel's comprehension of audiobooks and voice actors. He provided a balance of just enough customer engagement and privacy. I have not been to Ruth Chris in a while, so I enjoyed visiting again.

Most people know Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and their quality beef and sides. Growing up in New Orleans, we always heard about the deals and politics taking place over lunch and dinner at the original Ruth's. We decided to take our son out to dinner at Ruth's in Baltimore for his birthday. It also just happened to be Baltimore restaurant week. We got some drinks while waiting for our son and his girlfriend to arrive, then got seated promptly at a nice table. Our waitstaff was wonderful and we got Oysters Rockefeller to start. They were wonderful. We all got the petite filet from the prix fixe menu and most of us got the creamed spinach. Both were excellent. My wife passed over the salad for the gumbo and it was very authentic and tasty. My son decided to get a side of potatoes au gratin. Dinner was going well - good service, attentive but not overly so and the sommelier helped us pick a wonderful bottle to go with dinner. Unfortunately, my son's girlfriend found a piece of plastic in her mashed potatoes. We alerted our waiter and he spoke to the kitchen and manager and they were removed from the menu. At the end of the meal our waiter asked if we wanted something to bring home because of the plastic incident, but we weren't interested at that point. Too bad this tainted our evening. Everything else was really, really good.
