Yama Sushi Bar

Nice neighborhood sushi spot. I've dined in once and the service was nice but I usually get take out. The Gyoza, shrimp tempura ans soft shell crab tempura are my favorite. I also like the crazy stone (fried tuna) and the Spiderman roll ( fried soft shell crab). I don't do raw sushi. They are closed on Tuesday.

Fantastic meal. We brought 4 kids under 8 years old to the restaurant. Our kids weren’t on stellar behavior to say the least. The restaurant staff were so kind and patient with them. The food was amazing. They heard us say that it was my moms birthday and brought out a candle lit dessert proactively. This will be our go-to sushi spot in the future. If they’ll allow us back in that is!

MY FAVORITE SUSHI RESTAURANT IN BALTIMORE ❤️❤️❤️ I got the sushi appetizer, dragon roll, and salmon roll. I love this place because the fish is fresh and decent tasting for the cheap prices. The prices are SO CHEAP. Like I never heard of $12-13 rolls until I went to Yama Sushi 😮 I would say dragon roll had smaller pieces of eel than I am used to in my dragon rolls but for the price I completely understand and think the amount of eel is fair. I love their salmon the best tho. I wish they have salmon sushi appetizer which would be 7-8 salmon sushi 😆 Their tuna and other fish are not bad for the price too. I want to emphasize that you should not expect high quality sushi here. But if you wanna eat decent sushi until you are full without breaking your wallet, this is the place 😍

Yama Sushi is simply the best sushi restaurant around, no doubt about it. I almost don't want to share this review to keep it as my hidden gem for lunch. Their food is absolutely awesome, going beyond the usual sushi rolls with a variety of creative and delicious options. The staff is consistently helpful and attentive, always making sure we have a great dining experience. They even surprise us with occasional treats on the house, which is a nice touch. The only downside is that they're no longer open on Tuesdays. Nonetheless, Yama Sushi remains my go-to spot for top-notch sushi, and I highly recommend it to all sushi enthusiasts.
