The lunch buffet costs $16 and offers various curry choices. Overall, it was enjoyable. My only suggestion would be for the Naan to be a bit softer.

Great experience and buffet was on point. Plenty of options. Kept clean and plentiful. Staff always awesome and hospitable.

Before you read further know that the food is fantastic. The Sagg is smooth with pallet cleansers of ginger, the butter chicken's flavor is spicy and the butter flavor comes out fantastic, the pakora is crisp even after delivery and the flavor is wonderful. I have yet to have a dish from this restaurant that I haven't enjoyed, and while on occasion the salt levels are a bit high, it's never enough to stop me from taking the next bite.
If you want a flavor forward option for your dinner there isn't much better if an option.

Kumari offers an unforgettable Nepali and Indian dining experience. The cozy ambiance, warm service, and talented chef create a delightful atmosphere. Must tries steam chicken Momo( dumplings) .

Hopped off the train and headed straight to this spot for their lunch buffet. Very friendly service, sat us immediately and grabbed us some water. The curry fish was tasty, the tikka was a bit sweet but tasted good. The star of the show was this “Chicken of the sea Mo Mo”. So much flavor and it was something I’ve never had before so I truly enjoyed it. Nepali tea was also served with this buffet. We were both very happy and full when we left. Highly recommended.

Our decision to have lunch at this Indian restaurant proved to be a serendipitous find during a leisurely walk to the pharmacy. Intrigued by its favorable Google rating, we decided to give it a try.
Upon entering, we were greeted by an impressive buffet spread that showcased a wide array of dishes. However, my wife's Jain dietary requirements and our children's favorites, Paneer and Malai Kofta, accompanied by butter naan, led us to opt for the à la carte menu.
The highlight of our culinary adventure was undoubtedly the Goat Biryani, presented with an exquisite flair that heightened our anticipation. What struck us immediately was the meticulous presentation of all the dishes, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. Fortunately, the taste lived up to the visual appeal, with each dish proving to be flavorful and satisfying.
Our waitress, Sushmita, played a pivotal role in making our visit truly worthwhile. Her attentiveness to our dietary restrictions and order, coupled with her ever-present smile and enthusiastic demeanor, enhanced our dining experience. Sushmita's warmth and dedication to ensuring our needs were met left a lasting positive impression.
In summary, our impromptu visit to this Indian restaurant turned out to be a delightful surprise. The delectable à la carte menu, coupled with impeccable presentation, elevated our lunch experience. Sushmita's exceptional service and her commitment to accommodating our dietary preferences added an extra layer of satisfaction to our meal. While the absence of Goat Biryani, Paneer, no-jain in the buffet was a minor disappointment, our overall experience was one of culinary delight and outstanding service. We left with contented appetites and smiles, eager to return for another memorable dining experience.
Note: Even the spiciest is not killer spice here! :)

Not all Indian food is the same. It might have the same name as something at your favorite place and taste completely different at another.
At Kumari (a Goddess of Nepal) everything is a bit different and the outcome is delicious. Perhaps it's that Kumari is a Nepal restaurant representing similar but very different flavors than their neighbors to the southwest.
The staff is very. Attentive and friendly. I observed one of the staff going above and beyond by re-wiping plates stacked at the buffet. Their beer recommendation was even spot on as well as introducing me to a new favorite import.
The buffet was standard for "Indian" restaurants with a few options that I have never seen before. For example a drink labeled Lemon Water was more like tea with a complex mixture of flavors.
I really like this place and will return soon.

The best Indian food I’ve ever had!! Everything was fantastic! We got the vegetable samosas, butter chicken, and tikka masala! Service was also top tier!

When the owner apologizes for having had to increase their prices ... your heart loves this place even more. Been going here for years. Never disappointed. Especially love their all inclusive lunch buffet. Everything tastes and looks amazing. Met my son here today. Same warm atmosphere, same smiling staff and what a spread. Even with the higher prices ... their offerings are more than anticipated. And compared to other local spots, this is still very much a bargain.
Missed the buffet ... glad it's back.
Drove from White Marsh ... gladly.

OK. To begin with - excellent service!! One of the best services ever. We ordered tandoori chicken, goat curry and steamed chicken momos. Other than the goat curry, the other 2 items were delicious. Goat curry could have been a little more tender, but the place is definitely worth a visit. Momos initially were served a little cold, but they reheat it for us and we loved the experience overall.
