Kiku Sushi

Took a quick trip to Baltimore this weekend was looking for a spot to have dinner with friends and stopped at Kiku Sushi Restaurant. I had the Yellowtail scallion roll super fresh and great tasting sushi. I also order the Yaki Soba noodles with shrimp and mixed veggies. If you’re in the Fed hill area of Baltimore definitely stop by.

If you want A LOT of fish in your rolls, this place is for you… I ordered three different rolls, sashimi, and a sashimi salad and each order came with so much fish, I couldn’t ask for more food. We ended up taking a lot home to enjoy later. The wait staff are very friendly but expect a bit of a wait for food as these rolls are impressive and take some time. This is a great lunch or dinner stop as you walk the scenic Federal Hill and Inner Harbor. I will definitely be back!

The food was good. It wasn't the best I've had but it was very good. My children loved their sushi and my salmon bowl was huge I couldn't finish it all! I had sake and the children drank Japanese soda pop with a ball in it that you had to pop down to open. Quirky and cute they drank it up so fast! The place wasn't busy so we sat in and ate which was great. They give you tofu soup before your meal which was pretty good. Overall a cute place to eat and not too pricey.

Sushi quality was perfect ! Service was excellent! Pricing is confusing - and while they say a 15% increase , it’s more like a 20% increase . On special I paid $24.00 for two rolls ( one special , one regular). The pro: I was able to eat my sushi over two days because it was so filling. Again: delicious and fresh!

This is a relatively small sushi shop in the Fed Hill area that has both dine-in and take out. The service was a bit on the slower side but the staff is friendly and the sushi was good. The prices are currently 15% higher than the listed menu price, so be prepared to pay more than you expect. However the sushi rolls are very good and portioned much larger than I anticipated. I did not expect to be full after a single roll (See pictured Mango and Spicy Salmon Roll). Although I enjoyed the food as it was fresh and well made, I'm not likely to make a return trip any time soon since I have a preference for having small amounts of a variety of rolls. The sushi preparation was more on the fusion end than the traditional one for those that are curious. That being said I would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for good value and fresh sushi.

As a sushi fanatic this is definitely one of the best of the best sushi in Baltimore. Price are reasonable cuz it could have been easily $200 in another restaurant in Baltimore which I’m not gonna name. It was $100 bucks and that a lot of food ! Pick up a couple of orders here for Uber and DD it was pretty fast. I really like the fact that this is a small business which mean that they give their best to make customer happy. Friendly service and clean restaurant. Interior design of the restaurant is simple and homey.
