Dock Of The Bay

Best crab cake I’ve ever had. Impeccable service. Although the cream of crab soup was a little salty, it was still good. The nachos were piled high and delicious. The augratin potatoes oozed with cheese. The salmon was good, but a little too salty. The asparagus was delicious as well as the mashed potatoes and quesadillas. The seafood sampler was amazing. We loved view as we celebrated a birthday. Don’t forget to order the hot yummy dinner rolls.

Took a little road trip to grab a reasonably close "soft crab" sandwich, raw oysters and some fries with crab imperial on 'em. Growing up in a small town on the Chesapeake Bay makes me a harsh critic of seafood restaurants.. but Dock of the Bay didn't let us down. Delicious fried soft crab sandwiches.. fresh oysters.. and good drinks. Living just north of Baltimore now.. this will probably be the first of many visits. We sat outside and had a decent view (that was shared with several ducks ... and a couple flies, which is proper bay/outdoors eating) Our server was awesome ... and we'll definitely be back.

Good food. Great staff (always very nice and helpful). Nice atmosphere, with good views of the water. They have a monthly specials menu that always has a couple of fresh and creative options. There are sometimes inconsistencies from the kitchen, but not enough to cause me to not want to return. In the summer, the flies outside can be a but overwhelming.

Was birding at North Point State Park and decided to check this place out for lunch. Glad we did! The food was delicious, bathrooms were clean, outside seating was plentiful, and the waitress was friendly and prompt. My only suggestion would be to have more items on the menu marked as Gluten Free, or have a separate gluten free menu.
