Taste This

This was an excellent spot in the middle of dreary Baltimore. We were traveling, and you can only eat so much fast food and gas station pick up. We needed real home cooked food. We both did fried shrimp baskets, but they were very accommodating and let me change my fries for collard greens. I ordered a second dinner of stuffed salmon with sweet potatoes and stringbeans. This food was so delicious. The shrimps were succulent and plump, and the fries surprised us ,I dont usually eat fries is why I substituted for Collards but they weren't regular fries, they weren't crispy but they were very delicious and seasoned well. I ate my brothers all up! Collards were just like my grandma's, smoked turkey seasoned them, and they had a marvelous tender chew to them. We ate the stuffed salmon when we reached our destination. It was enough for two adults. The salmon was moist and cooked perfectly to our liking. The crabmeat stuffing was delightful! The candid yams were so good I didn't share. The string beans were like my mommas, oh so tender and good, and for dessert, although it wasn't supposed to be, we had Eggnogg cornbread! I had never, and upon God, I have fallen in love with eggnog cornbread! We even had a chance to meet the chef before we departed, which was special to meet the person who's hands lovingly cooked all that food. We were made to feel special and I appreciate that especially when you are on the road the world can seem big and cold but that little place changed our dreary visit to a bright shining moment on a snow flurry day! Thank you all, we will be back! PS: Didn't take pictures cause that food was so good we just tore into it and were so satisfied that we caught the "itist" and fell right to sleep!

I love this place so much. I have never been insight but I often order delivery though Uber Eats when I am at work and my food is always exactly what I ordered and tastes AMAZING. They even called me personally this time to tell me they were out of something and asked what I wanted as a replacement. Other places would have just taken if off or replaced it with something random. This is a reliable, delicious go-to for me.

Finally tried Taste This but going on a Friday night was a mistake. Ordered online at 6:55 and the order said it would be ready at 7:22. Got to the counter at 7:23 and they said another 10 min which turned into 25 min. Greens were not the best but the wings and potatoes were good. Many people waiting inside. They have seating area and tv and restrooms.

I ordered barbque chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens, and sweet potato cornbread. The plate was delicious, everything was seasoned to perfection, but the star of the show was the sweet potato cornbread. It tastes like sweet potato pie and cornbread had a baby. I will be back to try the crab stuffed salmon. Definitely try this place great food wonderful staff. Well people I went back to try the salmon. One word Heaven. I was able to wait long enough to get a picture this time. Ya'll have to try this place!

Taste this catered for my wedding. I was so impressed with their professionalism their kindness and they made sure everything was good during my event. Had so much complement on the food, everyone said best wedding food they had. Will diff use them again for other events and highly recommend them. Thank you for the great service.

Me and my sister live in Charlotte and we’re visiting Baltimore. We ordered from here online thru door dash. This was some of the best carry out food I have had in a long while. The stuffed salmon and stuffed catfish was ordered and the side sweet potato Mac and cheese collard greens and cabbage. NOTHING disappointed. If you want a good meal come to this place we came back the next day and ordered the shrimp with grits and stuffed chicken still amazing and good service by mrs Loveta
