Thb Bagels & Deli

Good bagels 🥯 . I am from NYC Brooklyn born & raised on Staten Island . I am a bit of a bagel 🥯 & pizza 🍕 snob. We have bagel & pizza shops pretty much every other corner in the big city. This place makes a dense chewy bite of a bagel , with a nice crunch to the outside. Tasty & adequate. Wife & both kids said they liked them & would get again - enough said .

For a quick, late breakfast this place was okay! Service was relatively quick despite there being a line. We got a few kinds of savory bagels with spreads and a BLTA sandwich. All were fresh, served perfectly toasted/hot, and had a good ratio of toppings to bread. I'm no bagel pro or savant, so these were just another sandwich to me. The biggest advantage they have is lots of seating with a lower and upper level PLUS outdoor seating when the seasons permit. The restaurant itself felt clean, but the poor staff is stuck dealing with too many customers that won't bus their own tables (despite there being ample trash cans and dish returns throughout the dining areas). Perhaps more signage or stronger reminders to customers could help? But I don't blame staff for not wanting the extra labor. For convenience, this place works. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Wish the patrons were a little more thoughtful. It's a good alternative when I want a walk and something different from my neighborhood bagel spot in Mount Vernon (Belvedere Bagels).

The best THB is on Boston St., They are the only ones who do this place the best food and service. I have visited every location. This location takes shorcuts and is in a rush to fill DoorDash orders. The people are friendly and cordial. But the food is not on par with other locations. Serve you cold unmelted cheese on a Hot toasted egg and cheese Bagel. Make sure you pay attention when they are calling out orders. Because they will never repeat themselves, and your food will be on a cold bagel with cold cheese.
