The Daily Special

We ordered catering for our office last minute. They were extremely friendly, accommodating and professional. None of us had ever heard of the restaurant and selected based upon the high reviews. We were not disappointed. Everyone loved the food and thought it was delicious. Spicy sauces, creamy tasty sauces, outstanding guacamole and delicious fresh salsa. We had 3 party trays of tacos including chicken, carne and shrimp. Nothing was left. Thank you for kind service and great food. We will order again.

I must say that I am a picky eater when it comes to authentic Mexican food after living in San Antonio, Texas 5 years. My palate just would not accept anything less. Found this place a gave it a shot. I ordered the chicharrones platter with tamarind drink. I was amazed how the food was fresh, tasty, and appealing. Presentation to me is everything next to taste. The portions were big, so I had to take a doggy bag. The chicharrones (fried pork) were on point, tender and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning, the tortillas were freshly made, so was the rice and beans, and salad. I can tell when it is fresh as I will not accept anything less. I definitely will be coming back.

I discovered this gem of restaurant when I had jury duty. If you blink, you may miss it considering that its an 'underground' restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious and plentiful! The dining area was impeccable as well as the service that I received. Good thing that's not near my workplace because I could see this becoming a 'daily special' with me. I may make this a 'payday special' using one of the many food delivery services.

Awesome authentic Mexican food, tastes just like homemade. We had 2 entree plates and fresh juices yesterday. Meat was cooked just perfect by the chef with the best softest beans and rice. The mango juice and hot chocolate was so fresh. Serving size was very generous. Service was excellent too. We reached there just a few minutes before closing but they took our order for 2 people very graciously. I would go there again. I highly recommend it. !!

Just had an amazing lunch at The Daily Special - a salad bar in downtown Baltimore. It’s by far one of the best tasting salads I’ve ever had. I ordered a Korean Glazed Salmon Bowl while my buddy had a build-it-yourself chicken bowl. Both bowls were filled with fresh mouth-watering ingredients and salmon was grilled to perfection while the chicken was spiced excellently. Even if you aren’t a salad person, I would recommend going just for their fires and dips, specifically their garlic aïoli, yum! Definitely recommended for those who are looking for an easy, tasteful and filling lunch.

This restaurant is the best lunch experience. Clean, fresh, healthy AND so flavorful. I love the menu’s originality. The chef really knows how to mix it up. The spiced salmon is amazing! The bowls are always so filling and satisfying. The fresh pitchers of water with fruit slices and soup station give it a fun vibe.
