Tommy's Downtown Tavern

As mentioned before, this is the friendliest bar in Baltimore! Its the perfect, laid-back atmosphere to pop in for a regular drink and some satisfying bar food. My husband has cravings for their meatball sub. The drinks are super reasonably-priced and they have a really great selection of craft beers, especially for a small corner bar. Another bonus- this place, especially the bathrooms, is extremely clean, a rarity in many places. Very much appreciated.

This is one of the best bars, let alone a corner bar, that I have ever been to. Good food, great drinks, and an excellent staff. I know most people think of 'ghetto' when they see a corner bar but this is not a hood bar. They also have steamed crabs on the weekend for $1 a crab and these crabs are better than most places in this city. Awesome bar!
