Came here with my homegirls cause we like to eat. Our Host was James He was genuinely really sweet and understanding. 1000/10 and The Shift Manger Kevin heard I was little unhappy with my food and took time out of his night to remake my food for me . I honestly recommend this place food came out quicker than our drinks lol . Came around 10:15 pm

This is my neighborhood Fridays, which is located at Mondawmin Mall right near the Metro Station. It's easily accessible, with great parking, and excellent service. The servers are friendly and attentive, and the manager is responsive. Whether Im there with my husband, BFF, or ordering delivery we ALWAYS get great service. I've only had 2 issues with this location in 5 years, and both were resolved: 1. This is a franchise that does not participate in all the rewards program discounts, so some servers have no idea what specials rewards customer are supposed to get. 2. The restaurant is kept at an uncomfortably cold temperature, which the manager explains is to keep the condensation down so the floor doesn't get slippery. I've complained that this negatively impacts the dining experience, and each time, the manager has adjusted the temp as best he/she could. This may be a utilities issue for corporate to address. I believe this location gets mixed reviews because its customer base has UNREASONABLE EXPECTATIONS. It's a Black-owned franchise in a mostly Black neighborhood, in a 63% Black city that is bombarded with negativity from the media on an hourly basis. The media tells us 24/7 that we and our communities are worthless, so many folks walk through the door with that chip on their shoulders. Meanwhile, customers who do NOT live in the area are ordering delivery, getting great food and service, and intentionally NOT contributing positively with their dine in presence or their good Google reviews. Students from Coppin and MICA enjoy lively music during happy hour, and entrepreneurs take midday business meetings at the restaurant for the quiet and free wifi. My suggestion is to come for a visit with no preconceived notions and allow the staff to shine. Act right! Tip well.
