Kiariz Coffee

I have to tell ya’ll about this crab cake I just had. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this crab cake is marketed as “The Best in Baltimore” and I have to say… they’re correct! Perfectly seasoned with no filler. I spoke to Chef Mike to let him know how delicious the crab cake was and that he (and the food) will be why I keep coming back.

Okay vegan options. Not the best vegan breakfast Sammie I’ve had, but it fits the bill. Most places don’t put a lot of effort into their vegan options, so I’m grateful they had something… Açaí bowl is pretty good. Avocado toast was a bit stale. Will come back for açaí bowls. Maybe not for the other vegan options.

We enjoyed the quiche, the chicken and waffles, which arrived crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside (the chicken) and fluffy, topped with some fresh fruit (the waffle). Service was very attentive, notwithstanding that it was our server's very first day doing so. A few rookie errors but her heart and smile were in the right place and her second day will be excellent. It's a lovely, small restaurant, perfect for a morning business meeting or social encounter.

Garden & Grounds is the perfect artisanal breakfast spot. A friend introduced me and I fell in love! If you looking for a great cup of Joe or a nice healthy ethically sourced breakfast/ lunch. Garden and Grounds is perfect. I had the shrimp and grits with homemade biscuits. Talk about a delight in every bite. Trust me you’ll thank me

I always get the avocado toast & tomato soup. The tomato soup is the BEST I have ever had. It’s a little sweet but so delightful, I literally sip it down so quickly on a chilly day! Service it always great anytime I’ve been there. My favorite is sitting on the patio with my dog when it’s warm enough outside.

Nice little Cafe. Great coffee, but our server, Rowan never came to ask if we'd like a refill or anything else. Nice enough young man who just needs to learn to be more attentive to his customers. Salmon BLT on sourdough had a generous portion of tasty salmon but the bacon was rather greasy. My friend really enjoyed the chicken salad on croissant. The sweets in the bakery case looked tempting but we resisted. We'll try that next time. Inside dining is a rather small area so be prepared for lots of noise. But with all the surrounding windows, it's nice and bright inside. There are many items on the menu so I'll definitely go back and do breakfast next time.
