Harlems Deli

Could not conceive of a better deli if you tried. This place is THE place if you love an authentic deli with food done right. Easy to see how it’s been in business for over 100 years, as the food was spectacular. Went with a buddy and we split an original Reuben and a President’s Special (pastrami & Swiss) - both were impossible to put down. Friendly and fast service, and offered free samples of deli meat while waiting. Would have loved to try their breakfast bagel sandwiches too. Could not recommend Attman’s enough if you’re looking for an authentic deli!

Let me start by saying I've been coming to this place for most of my life, I remember as early as 7 with my grandparents to get a Cornedbeef sandwich and hotdogs. This place is popular! There is a free parking lot to the left of the building, and it gets full quickly, yet I always secure a park close by. I'd park anywhere and walk there if I had to. When you first walk in, it's skinny and appears really small. Excuse yourself, pass the folks who are paying for their items, and shimmy to the back to place your order. Things move quickly, so hopefully, you have already peeked at the menu and know what you want. Like any other deli, you yell out your order and place your trust in the person making it happen. THEY NEVER MISS! I always request a cornedbeef sandwich on rye bread, extra onions, sourcrout, and a tad bit of spicy mustard. I secure the order with a bag of chips and a snapple. I don't remember exactly how much I paid, but it was more than $10 and less than $20. While I wait, the employees always greet me, sharing a cute story or shooting me the sweetest smile while they pack up orders. You make your way back to the front and pay for your items just before leaving out the door you entered. There is seating inside of this Deli. A decent amount of seating, actually. It's off to the left. I'm sure I'll always make the 30-minute drive to Attman's to get that sandwich made with love. I refuse to cheat on them. It's the only place I'll get my cornedbeef from! I highly recommend it.

Their overstuffed corned beef sandwiches are wonderful. There usually is a long line, was glad on Saturday it was short, many people behind the counter sorting out the orders - service was relatively quick. They have parking on an empty lot by the little neighborhood grocery store, and there was also was also street city parking. Location isn't that great, but you're in and out fairly quick.

The deli was clean, the customer service was A1. The corned beef was the best I've ever had I'm not s conessoir but the meat was tender. Never had beef that tender. The person that took my order he let me have a taster. I order a corned chipped beef sandwich on rye with Swiss cheese. A medium Shrimp salad which was my favorite. And to top it off one blackbottom. I'm not from Maryland and that was my first time hearing of a pastry or dessert by that name. Omg is was soooo good. They have a bunch of other meats, soups desserts etc i just got what they a famous for. Over all great experience an I will go back. For all mentioned above my total was around $27. I went in around 1130am to beat the lunch rush and was in and out. They do have street parking as well as a small lot off to the left of the building.
