Nice enough and a pleasant lunch, tables were a little on the sticky side but I wasn't expecting the Ritz.

Large pub with lots of tv screens . Not too busy on the afternoon I visited but with Bangor being a university town I’m sure it gets busier later on .

Went for Sunday carvery. Food was good. All fresh veg and a good choice of meat. Had to wait a while because they had run out of plates and my drink came with a dirty glass when I asked to change it the replacement glass was also dirty.

I was horrified at having to pay to get into a pub, this hasn't happened for some time. BUT imagine my delight when I discover that it was £1 per pint at the bar. Tears of joy spilled forth from my eyes.
We were here with a small group, one of us dressed as a bride and the atmosphere was great. Enjoyed the music and the dancing, the beers and the cheap drinks. Thanks Varsity.

This place is great fun. I love it. They don't always have the drinks I'm after....but I'm over from Australia so I'm used to a different range 😁 always really friendly. The nachos were an interesting and tasty experience haha

Had food off the new menu here fee days ago. really good prices and tasty grilled food... defo going back for their burgers

Menu ok. Food takes along time to come. Parts was cold. Steak was bleeding and very watery. They put a butchers absorption mat under it. Not nice when find it in your mouth. Kids pub

Went there and had a Sunday Roast.
A big plate of food and at least 5 veg on the plate,staff very happy and spacious.

Popped in during the day for coffee and full English (Welsh?)
The breakfast was delicious, filled me right up and the coffee was okay...gave me caffeine fix.
Staff are great and place looks like it has a lot of history and a few locals give it a bit of character.
Great place for a beer and good value food in Bangor.
