Nikki Sushi And Steak

Seriously good sushi!! I travel for work and love trying new sushi - Seattle, Bay Area, Vancouver BC, etc. but the quality and consistency at Nikki Sushi is at the top. Service has always been prompt and courteous, although I wish they’d allow the employees to stop wearing those ridiculous masks. My personal favorite is the Hot Samurai roll. It is baked and has a slightly sweet, slightly spicy (less than a spicy tuna) flavor. Also look for the Rainbow roll. They have a really great bar - if you ever want to catch a sports fame and all the bars are too busy, this is a great option to try. They also have a mice outdoor patio in the warmer weather.

Nikki Sushi & Stake have both indoor and outdoor seating with AC! First time here, the service was friendly. Atmosphere was okay due to the restaurant seem a bit disorganized. For food, the sushi was also on the on the expensive side, there are cheaper options but at the same time some of these options should be cheaper compare to other shops. The wait is a little long so make sure you order some appetizers. Overall the food was decent, if you want a nice waterfront view eating sushi in the evening this is a great spot for it.

After being a loyal customer for over four months and going there weekly, ordering exactly the same sashimi appetizer, today they decided to add a piece of horribly disgusting looking fish with the skin on it and said it’s chef’s special! We kept an open mind and tried a little piece but it tasted worse than it looked! We asked for it to be switched out and they refused and kept saying “the chef said it’s chef’s special” horrible customer service!! I’ve never been at a restaurant where they would force something on you to eat! We’re never going back, and you shouldn’t either! Mind you they are one of the most over priced sushi restaurants! Update on my previous review after a very unprofessional response from the restaurant owner. First of all visited this restaurant weekly and the server there knows us and she nothing but a sweet lady we never disrespected her nor anyone else at the restaurant because it was not her fault. For a business owner to respond with false accusation just shows you how much this restaurants values their customers and good customer service!! Second I am glad that the restaurant does not waste food but when a customer complains three times asking for the piece of fish that tasted horrible to be replaced with anything else available before returning the whole plate and canceling the rest of our order to take our business else where, I never heard of a restaurant that forces food on their customers just because they don't want to waste food!! Especially that we been ordering the same order weekly and we were not informed that they are changing the order. Normally when restaurants have a new chef's special they let their customers know before they order, we are not up for new surprises as the chef pleases. But clearly this restaurant does not care about their customers or how to make things right when they disrespect their customers.

I had a Salmon Teriyaki for lunch, and I did not like the meal because it's got a small size of the salmon. Considering that price of fish is expansive, but still in my mind, salmon in my lunch box was way too thin and small. Salmon was thin and it was twice as Wide as the salad dressing cup. This menu is not something that I would order again.

The sushi was good, the size of the sushi was very nice. I really like when I can enjoy the nigiri without feeling like I have a rock in my mouth. Super clean taste, some of the best tuna I've had sense visiting Japan. My only dislikes is that a lot of the nigiri dose not need to be garnished. Let the great fish speak for itself. And the prices are a little high for one piece. Overall I will definitely be back.
