Thai Orchid At Tanasbourne Mall

Spent 10 minutes at a table before getting our drink order another 10 minutes until they took our order, spent another 30 minutes until my wife got her order of Honey chicken that tasted like cardboard and the waitress never even mentioned if I was going to get my food (chicken Pad Thai). After 10 minutes went by, I got up and asked her. She said, "yes, sorry". After waiting another 6 minutes my food got to me but was like mush. I asked her if it had been reheated and she cut me of saying, "No, it was cold when your wife's got finished so I had them make you a new one." I said it tastes horrible and is like mush, the noodles are all under an inch long. She said again, "its fresh cooked". That was not my point. To be clear, all I ever order from a thai restaurant is Pad Thai Chicken. I have had numerous times from their other location and it was fine, not great but edible. When she came back with the check, she asked if I was done. I said, "I was after the first bite, it tastes like pad thai mush and no flavor." She said nothing and made me pay full price. She also made me pay for the extra peanut sauce I didn't use because I only took ONE bite. I have worked in restaurants for years and never have I seen anyone made to pay for something they didn't like and not eat. They weren't even that busy. They seemed more concerned about the take out orders. Never going there again. Besides that, the table they sat is at (the 2 of us) was for 6 people and sticky. The Crab Rangoon which was on special had onions and green onions in it and that is all you could taste. Only thing good was the young coconut water served in the coconut. 12 bucks for Pad Thai I didn't eat!! We usually tip 20%. This is the first time I have not tipped in 20 years of dining out.

I've never experienced this kind of bad customer service. Servers name was ( At ) and refused to take two plates away from our table we had no desire to eat. I kindly said that I had no problem paying for the two entrees that none of us liked. He kept refusing to take our plates and belligerently rolled his eyes like we had no clue what Thai food was, he just said take them home or leave them there. Apparently they have a no void policy for food customers don't like. Asked for their managers name Kat and will let her know our experience. On top of that there was four other tables, somehow our order was not important because two other tables and takeout went out first. Sorry but we will not go back again.

I had been there today. Me and my wife like Thai food so found this place that we had unexplored. Not sure for the reason, I found very less people seated inside the restaurant. When I asked for juice, I was told that none of the juices were available. This came in as a surprise to me. The person who was taking the our orders did not have a smile on his face. On asking for details about the dishes, we got a very brief answer that discouraged us from exploring newer dishes that we had not explored. We got our dish in sometime and the dish we had ordered was ok.

I barely wanted to give a star. Me and my boyfriend went to eat, were seated and waited to order. As other people came into the restaurant and we're seared, the restaurant took their orders and served them food all the while we were just sipping on water. We were so disgusted by the service that we got up and left to eat elsewhere. Definitely will not eat there or recommend this restaurant again.

The service was very slow for the few people that were dining that evening. They didn't have any condiments or chopsticks on the table. The food was just so-so. Before leaving, saw another guest help themselves to a plate from the staff area. They had touched their hands all over the surface of the plate when the waiter came up. The waiter said something to the guest, took the plate, placed it on top of the stack of clean platess, and handed them another one. Will not be going back.
