My boyfriend and me were looking for a pizza place and came across this one on google so we wanted to try it. He went in and got us a pizza and was talking with the owners, they make their dough and everything fresh and the way they cook pizza was perfection it was crispy (which is my personal preference) and tasted so delightful! We have been searching for the absolute perfect pizza spot for years and I feel like this is the one! Worth every penny! I would add a picture but I ate it all 😊

Restaurant is clean, friendly service, good selection of beers. Knocking a star down because I feel that price isn’t reflective of the quality of their food. I can’t think of anywhere else in the Portland area that charges $30+ for a 14” and $40+ for an 18” pizza even with rising costs. In their favor I will say that the pizza has improved dramatically over the years. Used to visit them about once a month prior to the first pandemic and the pizza definitely lacked. This was my first trip back in probably over a year and although the prices nearly made me sh*t myself as I previously remember paying $20 for a 14” pizza, I was pleasantly surprised as the pizza tasted much better than I remember. That being said I don’t think it is so much better that it’s worth an extra 50%, there’s better pizza out there and it’s easy to find.

There is a decent beer selection although you can get a pint of the same beers at other nearby bars for less. Also as much as I like the atmosphere the pricey pizza is just ok and in two out of three visits (when it was slow) they could not be bothered with making sure my pizza crust didn't burn. They need to scrape the damn pizza oven!! No one should have to pay 16 bucks for a burnt marginal pepperoni pizza. WCD this is an easy fix if you want to earn my patronage.

Great spot for some artisan pie and GREAT selection of craft beer. A lot of places say they offer good craft beer but the ones on tap here are as legit as they get. Great selection as well not tilting too much in any direction (ie. IPA or Stout heavy) As far as service- I’d give them more stars if possible. After a conversation with one of the owners around problems I’d had making own dough for baking in an Ooni- they offered up some advice and also offered to sell me just some dough if I needed in a pinch. I took them up on it a few weeks later and they cut the dough in half, rolled it out for me and wrote some instructions on box to help at home. The pizzas turned out perfect and took a lot of the stress out of family pizza night. They could have easily passed on all of this- but didn’t and now they’ll have my business for life and hopefully many more that take the time to read this review. Cheers WCD 🍻

I stopped in to the West Coast Drinkery for the first time tonight to try their pizza. For the sake of Covid, I was pleased that I could order online ahead of time, and I was super impressed by how easily I was able to personalize the toppings of my pizza on their website. The restaurant is welcoming and clean, and the staff was fun and very friendly! They also have some outdoor seating, so I will definitely be back with friends soon. Also, my pizza was awesome. It was cooked perfectly and very tasty! Cheesecake was a nice bonus, too. I think I just found a new regular spot!
