The Pita Pit

Was hoping the new owners would turn things around for this place but being the third time I've been here since they reopened, I can safely say I'm never coming back. Guy making my pita got sauce on his hands. Rather than clean his hand or get a new glove he tried to scrape the counter with his hand before handling my food. I had to stop him before he grabbed my sandwich. Tried to sit down but all the tables had a sticky residue and I quickly lost my appetite. It's a shame, used to like this place. I don't trust them to cleanly handle my food.

Love the food, but it's difficult to give a good rating to a place that can't stay open during their published hours. Supposed be open until 8:00 tonight. Just pulled up at 7:35 and the place is dark with the doors locked. Have watched 2 customers walk up to the door and leave with a wth?!? look on their faces Almost the same thing happened a week ago at around the same time. Lights were dimmed, the open sign was off, but they hadn't quite locked door so we were able to slip in and order. It was clear they were trying to discourage customers though. I don't know if the owners are aware of what their employees are up to or not. But this isn't helping them build any sort of customer loyalty.

Hate writing bad reviews. But here we go -- if you are out of avocado you should let the customer know before they finalize their order. If the customer has to tell you that your lettuce is bad (parts were rotten/old) -- that really shows you are lacking in freshness checks and attention to detail. I noticed the lettuce was bad after the pitas were made, they proceeded to open the pitas back up and attempt to remove some of the bad pieces (saying they thought it was good now). The older of the two employees (a trainer or manager maybe), went back to check if there was more romaine in the back... she came back with the nearly empty tub and said they didn't have anymore. The lettuce left in the tub was not eatable either... Ya, we all love to eat the bottom of the barrel lettuce right? Third point to make the prices seems high -- for non-organic meats, pita bread, sauces, and vegetables you think it would be cheaper. This place really just reminds me of Subway quality ingredients wrapped into a pita, and there's a reason why that restaurant is going out of business. If pita pit is your go to -- Don't order online, because you'll probably want to make sure their veggies are fresh. When in the store, take a peek at what they are putting in your pita. On a side note -- They did offer to re-do the pitas I ordered, after insisting the original ones were good after they picked out the bad pieces of lettuce... but that doesn't make up for much and I'm honestly worried about getting sick now... if the romaine was bad and they didn't notice... what else was bad or close to it? But I had to eat it because I didn't have time to go elsewhere on my lunch break (wish me luck). Probably should have tossed them. Wont be back to this location or others.

There are a lot of entitled people posting negative reviews, surprise, surprise, Beaverton is full of jerks that think they are better than everyone else and will find any reason to knock others down with their over inflated ridiculous needs. Ignore them, they are full of it. The food was decent, it wasn't terribly priced and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Those other reviews are from people who have silly ideas and want hoity toity food for fast food prices. In reality, this is decent fast food, that is better for you than the other greasy burger joints.

If it's possible to give this place 0 stars I would have. On 2/10/17, I ordered our food online at 6:15 pm. The ETA on our delivery is at 7:04 pm. At 7:09 pm, our food haven't arrived, so I called the Cedar Hills Pita Pit to check on the status of our order. The woman that answered said that we were 3rd in-line for delivery and that it would take another 20 minutes before it arrived. At 8: 15 pm, our food still haven't arrived, so my boyfriend called to ask where is our order. It turns out, that our order was delivered to the wrong address. So basically we waited for 2 hours for our food to arrive that we paid for, only for it to be given for free to someone else. Dustin requested to cancel the order and have the money refunded to his account. We will be checking our bank account everyday to make sure that it gets refunded back to us. Due to the series of SNAFU this place made, you will no longer receive our business, and we will let everyone know the experience we went through. You could keep the compensation on our next order because we don't want to deal with you guys ever again.
