Stopped here for an early Friday dinner. Pub busy in the garden but plenty of seating inside and out and we wanted to be inside. Dog friendly which was great. Staff helpful and friendly and good service. Had soft drinks, katsu curry and Mac n cheese - tasty food and very reasonable price. Don't pay for parking - just enter your reg on the screen by the bar and it's free.

We had an amazing experience at The Ship! The staff is incredibly friendly and absolutely adores dogs. They made my furry friend feel so welcome. The burgers here are absolutely delicious, with juicy patties and fresh ingredients. What really impressed me was when the chef graciously prepared grilled chicken meat for my dog. It's clear they genuinely care about their four-legged visitors. The pub has a cozy atmosphere that adds to the overall charm. I highly recommend this place to dog owners and burger enthusiasts alike. Five stars well-deserved!

Nice pub, but if they're going to encourage people to order through the Greene King app they should do a better job of fulfilling those orders without needing someone to go up to the bar and nudge them along 15 minutes after drinks order placed. I'd say don't bother with the app unless you have a good reason for not being able to order in person at the bar.
