The Melting Pot

Great Experience we had. I had reserved the table for 2 as it was my Husband’s birthday. I had done the ad-on of balloons.. and it was absolutely pretty. Also a lady came by and clicked a picture of us and got it framed for us, which was absolutely sweet. Now talking about the food, it’s definitely bit pricey, but we loved it. I had mentioned that we are vegetarian and don’t have eggs as well. The waitress took care of our choices and helped us out with an amazing fondue experience with tons of vegetarian options. The cheese fondue was delicious, and the chocolate fondue, Dark and Dulce was heaven… A must visit place even if you are a vegan or vegetarian as they had ton and tons of options in Vegan.

It was my second time and first time in MA. This time me and my friends tried spinach artichoke for cheese fondue and yin yang for chocolate fondue. Loved it. My friend liked it too, it was her first time. Last time also we were three together and we got the 4 course meal each which was so much to eat. So this time we did a la carte. Service is good too, manager also asked us how we were doing while we were waiting for our order to arrive. We also tried cream puff addon on dessert fondue. It was filling and yumm ♥️😍

UPDATE: Cate (Owner) was kind enough to invite us back for dinner and it was the experience we expected on our original visit. I can’t thank Cate enough for everything she did to make it right. We truly appreciated it and will definitely be back again. I don’t even want to give one star! Worst experience we have ever had and we’ve gone to numerous melting pots in different states. Cheese came out cold with a dried film on the top so we send it back. Ask for another beer since we had already finished the one we had because after a half hour waitress never came back to check on us. Waitress has the nerve to ask if we still want our cheese because our salads are done… what?! So she sends over manager who is all of maybe 20 and says what can I do to make you happy. We said we just wait to pay for our beer and leave (mind you it’s been an hour and zero food). She then asks if we want our salads boxed up? Didn’t comp our drinks and didn’t offer to do anything for us. So disappointed and not what we expected when trying to celebrate our anniversary,

I was visiting USA for a couple weeks and I have to say this is one of the best places I've visited during my stay, the place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and it's perfect for a date, with your own space, which made it more private. We took the Fourse-Course dinner for 2. I recommend the classic alpine and Steak lovers and Ying-Yang for chocolate fondue.

My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and had such a disappointing experience. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and weren’t seated until 7:55pm, after approaching the host stand and politely reminding them of our reservation thinking maybe there was a mix up since a few parties that had just walked through the door were being seated, the response was “ya were just making sure your table is clean…”. After being seated almost a half hour after we arrived, we waited about 25 minutes for our waitress, someone did come over to take our drink orders, but our two sodas took 30 min to get to even get our table. We eventually ordered, relieved that we would finally have some food heading our way. The food was…not great. The cheese was not good or hot and the dipping arrangement was..not worth the price. On several occasions the silverware/ plates brought to our table had leftover food residue.. (which ultimately lead us to completely loose our appetite..and still to this moment we feel so unwell just thinking about it), after ordering we were told that they were completely out of chicken, and when we said steak would be fine they were out of that too, so they brought over pork (so my boyfriend had all pork instead of three choices for $32). At one point our grill was smoking so bad we were freaking out thinking the fire alarm was about to go off, the tables next to us were expressing their concerns as well as the smoke gathered through the hallway. We finally got a waitress walking by to help. As much as we debated complaining to our waitress how all of this was completely unacceptable and we should not have to pay such an expense for this 3 hour disaster experience, she was a young sweet girl and we knew this wasn’t on her but definitely management issues. I’m 22, I’ve been a waitress for years and I’m aware of how this business works. I would have never in a million years made a customer pay full price for this experience. After reading several reviews it’s obvious that nothing has been fixed. This place has so much potential and so many easy fixes but we both agreed this was one of the worst restaurants experiences we had…….$130 later.
